Cozy little bar with some really good food. Decor is pretty basic but there’s a fair amount of TVs and a decent outdoor patio. The BBQ Rangoons were very good, also had the Reuben and my wife got the wings. It was all very tasty
Its a beautiful place to hangout. They have guitarist on few days. Music is too good.Used to walk by this place everyday and could feel the food aroma everyday. Decided to visit there one day and tried Tender Chicken Dinner with Tank 7 on server's suggestions.A bit expensive but it's worth trying.Perfect place for food and drinks!
Stopped in here and caught a really cool 2 person band. Was great little place to eat. (Amy and Dan Unplugged - from Pompous Jack
Mostly good food. The barbeque rangoon's were an excellent start. The stuffed burger with sweet potatoes fries was good. The smoked wings need to be thrown on a hot grill after smoking to give the skin some texture-as is they have a mealy mouth feel. The service was friendly and competent.
Food is always good! Service is very friendly.
I like this place I found it when they first opened they have switched owners and most of the staff every time I order with the newer staff it’s a hit or miss 6 out of 10 misses I’m sure they are nice people but these two ladies are so unfriendly and make you feel small and insignificant. They both were staring at me and my receipt as if waiting to see if they were willing to help me depending on if I tip or how much I tip. These kinds of places should be paying their waitress more that the normal 2.13 an hour…. The quality is a hit or miss I know they keep some food from the day before and reuse as any normal house hold but some times I can taste the boldness of the fire chief .. and that’s my favorite food item on their menu.
Great environment along with friendly staff. The food is outstanding. Try their smoked wings and waffle fries.Thank me later
Heard good things about this place so we decided to try it. Upon arrival the bartender/waitress was a bit unwelcoming and seemed irritated that I asked for napkins to wipe the dirty table and chairs. We ordered chicken wings well done with the sauce on the side, they came out crispy on the outside but slimy inside and tossed in sauce. The bbq nachos w/brisket were very good. My son ordered a burger and said it tasted weird, couldn’t finish it but the fries were good. My husband and I shared the 3 rib 2 meat plate and got the burnt ends and brisket with a side of Mac & Cheese. The entire meat platter was COLD. Not room temp, literally like it had just been taken out of the fridge! The ribs were tender but the flavor was just off for me, didn’t care for them. Brisket and burnt ends both seemed dry. The Mac was actually better tasting than it looked, but extremely cheesy. We were definitely a little disappointed in the service and food quality but might give them another chance in the future before crossing them off. We did like that happy hour goes until 6 with $2 beers and $2 wells!
Gave this place another chance after 2 failed visits in the past and unfortunately it was just as bad of an experience as the first 2. There was one other occupied table of 9 family members in the dining area. We overheard them talking about how long the food was taking. When their food came out it was sporadic and they were not all served at the same time. In all, it took about 15 mins for them to be served their food once the first plate was delivered to their table from the kitchen. For us, our order took over 40 mins. which surprised us since we were only one of two tables who had ordered food up to that point before other tables started to fill up from incoming patrons. One lady who came in after us, actually ordered chips & queso from another restaurant and had it ubered to her while she sat at a table with friends waiting on food. No kidding.I ordered the "Massive" potato skins...they were cold, hard, bland and very "skimpy". My husband's food was cold and the bun was hard and his french fries were soggy and cold. The "fire chief meat mix" we both had brought back memories of the "mystery meat" I had back in college in the cafeteria. They were out of several beers and we finally settled on Diet Coke.We had high hopes for supporting a small business so close to our house. The wait staff are friendly enough but they just kept disappearing on us for long periods at a time. The food quality is horrible and how long it takes for the kitchen to prepare the food is frustrating. We could MAYBE overlook the food being sub-par but with that and the slow service from the kitchen each time, sadly we won't be back.
Some of the best ribs and burnt ends in town in town. The Chef is truly a Chef, and they have good live music several nights a week.Good Food, Good People, Good Music.Shawn Neal
