Yall better pray nothing goes wrong with your "carry out order" because even if you take a few bites and find out your gyro meat is dry. The owner Ted will not autho a refund his loyal non speaking English workers has to call the masta first and basically all he wants is your money doesnt care one bit about quality and freshness.
I got a Greek chicken quesadilla for takeout today and it was phenomenal. It came with cucumbers, tomatoes, and multiple sauce options. The chicken was very juicy and overall and a great flavor! The staff was very nice and wait time was minimal as well
I’m a local and I’ve been going here for years. Love their chicken plates and their Euro plates. If you’re in the mood for Greek food, dine in or take out. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed
Lady working the front counter is extremely rude and confrontational. There was a miscommunication when my order was filled. Instead of asking if I would like to add and pay for the item I thought came with my order. She abruptly accused me of only ordering one specific thing and not the lunch special. Offering no alternative. My mistake. Will absolutely never go back to that location again.
Excellent family restaurant, quality food, clean calm atmosphere, happy friendly staff, good price-point value for today's times. It's rare in Overland Park to find a decent restaurant, but I am very satisfied with my psst three visits to Mr. Gryo's.If you want to support small business, support your community and enjoy tasty food in a family friendly environment, this is truly the place to go.Special thanks to the staff, the chefs and the family for all their efforts, I appreciate you!
The gyros and tiramisu were amazing! The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was very friendly, helpful and polite! We'll be going again for sure
I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but when a business is deserving as in this case, it’s necessary. This is the second time I have ordered from Mr Gyros w/bad results affecting the orders. First time they forgot to include the dessert and now, the sauces that are a requirement for items in the order. Gyros, I believe, really need the sauce. First I was told by Mr Gyros that I needed to call DoorDash and get a refund and then, I could travel there (why did I order delivery) and “grab” some sauce? Neither time apologies being offered until I texted management whom told me to go to the facility and grab some sauce. DoorDash said they called Mr Gyros while I was on hold, and Mr Gyros refused to have the driver return. Does this sound like a response from a responsible business? I will be happy to share the text I received from their management to show you just how little they seem to care what you get. I received a partial refund from DoorDash (not their fault) as they told me the meals are filled and sealed by Mr Gyros. If you must order from Mr Gyros, travel there in person and hope you get your complete order correctly. There is no mgmt in house and a staff that is clearly not conscious.

Ugh. Negative reviews really aren't my thing, but the customer service at the OP location was so outrageously bad, you need to know. I placed an order to pick up in Olathe, but it wound up being sent to OP on Metcalf. Huh? Ok, maybe I hadn't paid close enough attention, so I went through the same steps. No where, at any point did the app indicate that my order would be sent to a different location. But what really irked me was how the cashier responded when I tried to explain the error with their online ordering. She cut me off insisting that they aren't associated with Google. Association or not, you got my order. At the wrong location. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to pick up food I should have already been enjoying at home. But the cashier continued to cut me off and insist that they had no association with Google. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said there wasn't one. Owner? Doesn't give out her phone number. Fortunately there are plenty of great Mediterranean restaurants and I won't be paying for such appalling customer service again. Try these instead: Queen of the Mediterranean, Holy Land Cafe, and several others you can find by searching the most popular GPS app, Google.
