I have spent a lot of money eating at this restaurant due to covid 19 and I am disappointed on every level I'm attaching a picture of our lettuce . My mom and I ordered for lunch two salads and they had lettuce that was brown rusty looking and dirty and unsafe to eat. I got very sick and was on the toilet for hours afterwards considering it's the only food I ate was from here so I know for sure it was this food .... I am very upset about the horrible quality and my tiramisu was not fresh either it was old and soggy! I usually get fairly decent food from here but the last couple of times I've ordered has been subpar! Oh and yes that is black stuff on the lettuce in the picture provided it is not the natural color of it. The reason I ate any of my salad at all is because the old brown rusty lettuce was hidden on bottom of each salad and you couldn't see it until you ate top part of salad. I am lucky I didn't get sicker than I did from this experience!
The cashier refused to serve me when I was 3 cents short. The exchange was vitriolic. I returned to the counter with adequate money and she again denied me service. Extremely rude. I was angry and expressed myself. I've never met a customer service person so thoroughly out of line!Did not eat. Was there at late lunchtime. My bill would have be $5.78.
It's good, nice for a light lunch. I would give it 3 stars because it's meh, just okay food for me. (The staff is top notch that's definitely a win) and my significant other would give it 5 so we are splitting the difference and going with a 4. I wasn't disappointed just wasn't wowed he was though. So if you're interested it's really worth trying. I can at a minimum guarantee you'll at least like the staff, unless you're a total shrew.
My dinner as always here was absolutely amazing!! I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is always so fresh and cooked to perfection. The best ingredients and cooks. The best employees and cleanest dining room and restrooms too. I'm getting hungry just thinking of a gyro plate while writing this review!. I can't wait to get back and for the most delicious Greek dessert's too !.
Been coming here for years! I absolutely love their chicken plate. It is delicious. They also have good gryos. This place is a KC legend for Greek food. Give it a go!
I’ve been going to this restaurant for the last 15 years and what used to be an amazing establishment has become a shell of what it used to be. The worst customer service in this town. I get that we’re living in tough times but no need to give an attitude when my order is wrong and then give me my right order but food was tougher than nails.
BEWARE of online ordering glitch! Ugh. Negative reviews really aren't my thing, but the customer service at the OP location was so outrageously bad, you need to know.I placed an order to pick up in Olathe, but it wound up being sent to OP on Metcalf. Huh? Ok, maybe I hadn't paid close enough attention, so I went through the same steps. No where, at any point did the app indicate that my order would be sent to a different location. But what really irked me was how the cashier responded when I tried to explain the error with their online ordering. She cut me off insisting that they aren't associated with Google. Association or not, you got my order. At the wrong location. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to pick up food I should have already been enjoying at home. But the cashier continued to cut me off and insist that they had no association with Google. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said there wasn't one. Owner? Doesn't give out her phone number. Fortunately there are plenty of great Mediterranean restaurants and I won't be paying for such appalling customer service again. Try these instead: Queen of the Mediterranean, Holy Land Cafe, and several others you can find by searching the most popular GPS app, Google.
Very clean, food was excellent and staff was friendly. A bit overpriced for what they're serving, and the 'guilt tip' prior to them providing any service whatsoever is annoying. It's as if they're saying "we're going to cook your food and call out a number. You'll come get it, eat it, and buss your own table. Please tip us for that and if you don't, well, we know beforehand don't we. Good luck."MG, you have great food. Don't taint the experience.
Won't go back. Our office in Lenexa orders lunch out at least three times a week. Normally everyone places their order on line and then one person goes to pick them all up. We tried that today with this restaurant for the first time. There is no plus to placing your order ahead of time. As you still have to wait in line with all other patrons to get to the counter, mean while your orders are sitting on a cold counter. Most places we frequent have a set up for on line orders so you just walk in pick up your orders and walk out. Counter staff was very rude to the point of ignoring you. Watched two other to go orders walk up and pick up their order (maybe the were regulars). When I did the same, I was basically ignored until I interrupted and said something. Then I was told very rudely that I needed to wait in line the next time, which I had for some time. There is no direction as you walk in or given on the order itself so I guess you are just supposed to read their minds. The food wasn't bad would have been better warm. But the rudeness and lack of customer service was more than enough to not go back.
I hope it tastes the same because I love this place and get their food Every week. Usually when I get a chicken Gyro it looks like the second picture but today I got it and it look like this and I’m like what the heck is this?!?? I said no tomato but there’s no lettuce or anything on it and the chicken is usually different I don’t know I usually like it because it’s really fresh this is just kind of disappointing.
