I now understand why this place is expanding all over the city, just absolute perfection. We've been three times now and ordered about 30 different menu items and every one has been a hit. An shining standout in a city where there are a hundred restaurants with a similar menu. If you see anything on the menu that says cream cheese get it, it's going to be good.
Normally I tell everyone Mi Ranchito is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kansas City. I've been to multiple locations, had great experiences at all of those. This was our first visit to this location. We were there at there dinner rush. Our waitress was rude to my wife, the chorizo on my fajita was barely cooked and just a giant coagulated lump on top, the shrimp was burnt rubber, half of our kids dinner didn't come & we had to ask for the rest which seemed to annoy the waitress.Will not be back to this location, it's worth the extra drive to go to 95th & I35.
Chips and salsa awesome. Shrimp had fishy taste. Beans were not hot. Fries were greasy. Would try again but not the fajita and not the fries.
Every time I go to this place servers just become worst and worst. Management really needs to start training their servers to become more customer service friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items. The server that I had was horrible, you could smell the alcohol on her and the hickies on her neck were not covered properly.
Rudest people I've ever come upon in my long life. We got up and left when the waitress real surly said you want something to drink and I asked do you have a menu and she just shrugged... that was it! Wanted to let everyone know. Came to Jose Peppers 1k times better, in every way!
Unprofessional and racist stuff members. Not all but a couple of racist employees work here. When you ask for a manager they lie and bring one of the employees as a manager. If you ever had problems here they will take you as a joke. I love Mi Ranchito in general but not worth spending any money here at this location!!!

Gave them three tries to get my food right and then I gave up. Food was awful! Chicken not cooked right and tasted funky. Blech! ?

Not sure why,but I tried this location again. Boycott lasted 5 yrs from last negative experience. At least they got the food to our table within an hour,unlike 5 yrs ago. The steak added to the taco salad was all grissel and dry,old. Of course we both were up at 4 am getting sick. Disgusting food,horrible service...what keeps these doors open? Bribes to joco health inspectors?
