We ordered a falafel plate and a mixed kabob plate. The falafel was served first, it came with pita, greens and a bit of hummus. The falafel was fresh and tasted amazing. Next we were served the mix kabob plate. The meat was tender and very flavourful. It came with spiced rice and fresh salad. Lastly, we ordered a cream puff for desert. The cream was light and sweet but the puff was slightly harder than expected. Overall the food was amazingly refreshing, filling and left us completely satisfied. I would recommend any one to try this place. We will definitely be back. The service is great and attentive. I’ve tried a lot of Mediterranean places around Overland Park and this one is clearly the top.
A friend of mine recommended this place and I really glad that I tried it. The food is wonderful and the owner is great. He really cares about the food and the customers. Please take the time to try it for yourself.

Someone who ate here before suggested it ad we did take-out.First off, the website and menu are incomplete and/or contradictory. Many items to order online did not have pictures, and “possible” pictures of that item were not. For example, there is a picture on the main page of a gyro with fries. So I ordered the “Beef & Lamb Gyro Wrap”, thinking it would be a gyro sandwich (no separate item for a “Gyro”). No sides were selectable, so I assumed fries were the only option. No. No fries and *not* a gyro sandwich but some kind of “wrap” that *are* pictured for the non-“gyro” pictures. The Chicken Gyro Wrap picture exists and *does* look like a gyro, but I now doubt it would be what was being served.The meat was ok, the caesar salad had too much dressing (and I generally am very forgiving for that), and the pita for the hummus was forgettable.Perhaps the dine-in experience is amazing, but even being able to know what they have before you arrive was difficult if not impossible just from the website and it looks like several dishes that might be offered are not on the online menu at all.Many restaurants have been able to give a top tier / first class take-out experience over the last two years, and this restaurant is definitely missing out. I would not eat here again.
Food was AMAZING and extremely fresh. I got the mixed kebabs, baklava (one of each kind), an eclair, a scoop of Turkish coffee gelato, and a cream puff. The kebabs were very tender and tasted amazing and the rice that it was paired with was outstanding. The pastries were lovely and I cannot recommend the gelato enough- especially if you are a coffee lover like me.
Feel lucky to have found what I’d consider the best gyro in Overland Park; lucky to have them around the corner! Thinner pita than other places makes for a better wrap/easier to eat on the go. Cool/creamy tzatziki sauce complemented our gyros. The owner was very friendly and even threw in a baklava taster for each of us - overall terrific experience. Only regret is that we haven’t been by sooner. This might well become part of the post-Costco run routine… :)

Definitely a hidden gem. We tend to patronize Aladdin and Habashi House, but I'm so glad we found Mediterranean Taste. The presentation was so lovely, and the food was excellent. I'm also impressed with the owners efforts to socialize with customers. I rarely encounter such friendly folks. ?
We had the soup and pastries today. We each got a different pastry to try and every single one tasted amazing. The lemon mint smoothie is unlike anything we've ever had before! It's a burst of flavor! Loved the pitaschio baklava. The owners were very hospitable and engaged in light warm conversation with us. Great service, great food, will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!
Great food and great service! Every pastry tastes amazing, we tried them all. ? They have a lemon mint smoothie unlike I've ever had before. A burst of flavor with real ingredients, not artificially flavored syrups. You can see the lemon and mint, perfect on a hot day! Both the chicken and lentil soup are good with unique flavor. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!
