Good food. Good prices. Wait staff very accommodating. Enjoyable experience. Though the restaurant was not overcrowded they offered us the party room for our group of ten.
We reserved one of the side rooms for a group gathering event. Taylor was nice and helpful for coordinating. Our server, Kyle, was fantastic. He remembered people’s individual drink orders. We also got food (nachos, pizza, wings, burgers) which was all good, as usual. All around a great experience here. Will certainly return.
Seated quickly, but it took awhile to get service. We also had to call the waitress over if we need anything, including waters. A lot of the chips were soggy, but solid food otherwise.
Love this location of Johnny's. Food is good. Service is good. My only complaint is they sometimes don't have the TV's on anything good or forget to change them to the next game. And this complaint is pretty minor in my opinion.
I love Johnny's. I enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. We ordered burgers and they were delicious. I also had the Buffalo chicken dip, and it was strange to see on a bar and grill menu but it was some of the best I ever had. I dipped my fries in it. Our server was a little unattentive, but other than that it was a lovely experience.
Food is awesome!! I like the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Tacos are legit as well. If you like vodka they have just about every flavor of Deep Eddy vodka.
The location was convenient and easy to locate, although the first attempt took me across the road. Could have been user error. But, the building is in great shape and plenty of open rooms and if needed, smaller group seating. The service was perfect with just the right amount of attention.
We go to the Jonnys in Lawrence and Topeka pretty often and have also been to the one on Shawnee Mission Parkway. Although there's nothing outstanding about them, the food is consistently top notch bar fare. Today was a first for us at this Jonnys. The service was fine, but the food was just plain hohum. None of us finished our meals. All of the sides, fries, O-rings, hush puppies, were probably cooked much earlier and just cooling off somewhere waiting for a plate. Even the buns on our sandwiches were pretty stale. I'll still be a Johnnys fan, but not of this one.
Love the food here and the staff is great. Gabby was our server, she did an excellent job. I highly recommend the firecracker tacos too. I will definitely be back.
