Authentic Chinese cuisine, attentive staff, and affordably priced
We had a quick dinner here. I ordered combination fried rice and fried ? balls. My dining cohort ordered something she had never had before and did not like it. The employee allowed her to send it back and order the staple, ? fried ? and ? Rangoon!The food was tasty. The restaurant was small but felt surprisingly homely. It was not crowded, thankfully. The service was great ?. The food was economically priced. The service size was very liberal.
I ordered 2 kung pao chickens. I'm not sure what I got, but it is definitely not kung pao. Tastes like watered down chow mein sauce with skin on peanuts thrown on top. I'm really disappointed by the quality of the meat, sauce, and vegetables. Now im out $30 and trying to find something else for dinner. I provided a picture for reference.
Very very good food. Not over fried & not drowned in the sauce. Great service. Hubby & I have found our new place. Oh & the egg rolls are amazing!!
Best REAL chinese food in Kansas City area. Great value for quality of service and the food... DELICIOUS. Good price for two.
Have been here many times over the years however this time was shocking. We arrived and they were busy, as usual, it was determined there were 2 of us for dinner and were told they don’t have any tables as she turned her back and motioned in a very dismissive manner and walked into the kitchen. While there weren’t any small tables available, there were 3 round tables empty.My guess is if we had 6 people or more she would have had a table available.Not sure if we will return.
I love this tasty restaurant! My favorite is the crispy fried egg plant stuffed with shrimp! Decadently delicious! ?

Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Kansas City area. I’ve had just about everything in this area and this beats it all. I got the pork fried rice and combo lo main to go. They were fantastic. Prices weren’t too bad either.
