Service was fantastic. BBQ sauce was less then desirable. I can get a much better tasting sauce within a few miles of my house in OKC ok. The Turkey was thin slices and tasted like sandwich lunch meat. Brisket was ok but kind of dry. Can usually fix that with a good bbq sauce but not so much here. Just disappointed that we drove so far expecting âthe best BBQâ. Not even close.

It was a festive atmosphere for the Fourth of July! The Waitstaff staff was working very hard and were still able to keep a smile on their face. The grilled salmon salad was one of the best Iâve ever had.
Absolutely perfect ribs; even better dry with sauce on the side. And a very good garden salad. My family has been eating at one or another of the Jack Stack restaurants for at least 25 years - maybe more.
A group of 20+ people were eating in the side room of the restaurant. We were seated in the main dining room at a booth near the entrance to that room. It became a problem once they were done with dinner and spilled out into the main dining room to enjoy after dinner drinks and conversation. They were extremely loud and stood near our table. We told our server so he had the manager ask them to return to their room but to no avail. It was not an enjoyable dining experience.

We entertained out of town guests Sumday night. Jack Stack is one of their âgo-toâsâ when they visit KC. Everything was as delicious as advertised. Personally, Iâve never been disappointed when enjoying Jack Stack. Itâs a Kansas City institution, for certain!
