I took my grandson and great grandson there today 7 31 2022. It was terrible. I ordered a chicken patty dinner and the crispy chicken patties were burnt. The kitchen response was... that's the way they are all the time. Not!!!! Staff was making comments in Spanish....I speak Spanish! Not happy about comments. Sad because in the past food has been good.
waitress was very nice, but the only one there and overwhelmed. must have also one had one cook and I think the waitress was helping to get food out. there were only 4 tables with customers, but it took 30 minutes to get food after I ordered.had turkey and mashed potatoes, and the turkey was great. potato clump was just that. not edible. gray was ok, but cold.had enough bad experiences at enough different ihop locations that I won't try another. off my list everywhere, forever.
My husband and I went to this location last night after a movie to have dinner. There were 3 tables in the dining room, a 3 top who was already eating, a 4 top waiting for their food and one single guest that was being waited on when we walked in. We stood at the door for over 10 minutes without even being acknowledged before a gentleman came over and told us the dining room was closed because they were short staffed. I understand the staffing issue. I work in a restaurant myself but it should have been posted on the door. It would have been more acceptable had the restaurant been busy but 3 tables?
Good food, quick service and overall nice experience. Very large portion, be sure you are hungry ?. Excellent service, would definitely go again.
By far the best IHoP we have been to and we are IHOP lovers. We personally thanked the cook and tipped him. The waitress was great too. Especially for us catching her 30 minutes before her overnight shift ended. It was like she just got there with her attitude still upbeat. They made sure we had everything we needed and let us enjoy our outstanding meal peacefully. We caught the perfect time when we were the only ones in the restaurant. My husband says that's the only IHoP he will be visiting from here on out.
It's IHOP. If you have eaten at one, they are typically all the same. Nummy pancakes; terrible coffee. They only had flavored creamer or milk for coffee (that was weird). Server was great. And they know how to make crunchy bacon! ?
Elderly employee with face tattoos snapped at me when I approached to pick up an order.I do DoorDash occasionally for extra funds and I had an order at this IHOP. I hadn't picked up from here before so I wasn't sure what their guidelines/requests were for pickup. I went inside and there was a family (the gentleman in the group had approached the empty front counter to pay) and an elderly guy at a booth, that's it. It was empty. The order was already close to being late for pickup when I arrived (that's a DoorDash problem) and I didn't see the order anywhere. I decided to step out and call so I wasn't in the way just to let them know I had arrived. No one picked up. I saw that someone had approached the counter through the tinted window glass and went back inside.The solo guy who was at the booth was actually an employee and, after a failed phone call attempt, he had FINALLY gotten up and assisted the other guy through checkout. I have an auditory processing issue so if I'm not aware someone is speaking to me I have issues processing what they're saying. He made eye contact with me and I thought he had asked if me what I needed. So, I took a step forward and said I had a pickup. He then snapped at me, in front of the family, saying "I SAID I'd be right with you." I apologized and said I was hard of hearing and misunderstood. He then scoffed and pointed to the guy who was signing the receipt and said something along the lines of "I take care of my people" with an angry inflection, and then kept scowling at me. I cancelled the order and reported the incident to DoorDash. By this time the order was several minutes late and it put me severely behind, it wasn't worth taking a hit to my tips and on-time counter to deal with. Needless to say I won't ever be doing a pickup from there again.
This place is full of racist middle eastern staff. If you want to have a please t experience go to a different IHOP. I waited for 30 mins in the lobby at 2am with the restaurant to y being 20% occupied. After waiting 30 they told my party to wait another 20 mins we left drove to Olathe and were seated immediately.
Absolute worst customer service I've ever had. There was one table in the restaurant and I waited an hour for my to go order. After an hour I asked for a refund. Robin became argumentative and was incredibly rude to the door dash drivers who were also waiting for food. He did not even acknowledge one of them until I said something. He basically told them he didn't care about them or their orders. I tried to get a refund since I never recieved my food and I can't until the morning. Ridiculous. This guy has no business being in customer service as he clearly doesn't know how to speak to people respectfully.UPDATE: It took getting ahold of cooperate and waiting 2 WEEKS before I finally recieved a refund for food I never recieved!!!
We just had the best experience at this IHOP!!! Thankful to the staff for being so attentive and accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and the service was exceptional. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Definitely will be visiting again!
