I messed up and didnât get us reservations for dinner anywhere at 5:30 on a Friday night with 7:15 movie tickets so we were scrambling. I saw this place had an opening, so I snagged it. Iâd seen it around for what seems like my whole life but had never been inside. Huge mistake. It was so balmy and hot walking in. No one greeted us at the door because itâs clearly a bar, so we found a table and sat down. Our server came over immediately with menus. We brought waters super quickly, and took our order then. When we brought our food, instead of the cheeseburger sliders I ordered for my kids he brought the hot chicken sliders. For a 4 and 6 year old. Yes, I shouldnât have had them in a bar, but I didnât know what I was walking into. The food was almost inedible. The salmon on my salad was so over cooked and dry it would have been inedible had I eaten anything else that day. The burger sliders, which the server had made right away, were drier than the Sahara and didnât come with any kind of sauce. When the bill came the server told us he had to charge us for the chicken ones that got made because they were more expensive. My husband and I have a combined 25 years from fast casual to fine dining and are not going to fight anyone over a few dollars or poorly cooked food, but we will make sure to never come back. Our mistake for coming in. You win some you lose some.
Just ok. Came for lunch on a Sunday and it was mostly empty. Food was mediocre at best and staff was indifferent towards us (they could care less either way) Definitely expensive for what we got and the quality was barely adequate. Probably a fun place to be during a game, just don’t expect too much.
We made reservations for Fathers Day online. We get there on time and the entire place is empty and they tell us to sit anywhere. (Why did we make reservations for an empty restaurant?) Every low table that has enough seats for our party of 6 was dirty with no one attempting to clean them, so we sat at a high top while my poor baby in her highchair couldn't see anyone since she was a foot below the table. After waiting 20 minutes in an empty, a server came and said "be with you in a minute" which became another 10 minutes. So after hall an hour, we finally ordered drinks. 15 more minutes pass without seeing our server so we decided to pack up and go to a different restaurant. As we were leaving, someone comes out to try and take our order. They did comp our 1 Coke and 1 tea. But after such a bad experience, especially on a day we were trying to celebrate , we likely won't be back
We’ve been coming here for a long time and we were seriously ignored for about an hour while the server Keenan visited every other table in the room about 3-4 times. Drinks weren’t consistent, the appetizer platter took an hour to arrive and the bar only appeared to be at about 30% capacity. The food looked like it sat in the window for like 15 min. Won’t be coming back for quite a long time. We were There’s much better places to spend your money around here.
I went there with a friend and I walked over to the bar to order a drink and the white female bartender told me I couldn't sit at a certain place at the bar because someone else was sitting there. I told her I just wanted to order a drink, so she gave me the drinks, and I went to a table with my friend. (Me and my friend are both African American). I noticed while watching the bar, no one was sitting at the place she claimed they would, and she constantly kept throwing mean looks my way. I felt so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave. I ordered some food but I was afraid to eat it. I think if you're a white person you may have a good time there, but if your black be prepared to know your place, (which is in the back by the pool tables), because its not up front at the bar. Location is off of 105th and Metcalf in Overland Park Ks.
Filthy! Table was dirty, condiment bottles were sticky and disgusting. I have seen Porta potties with cleaner toilets. My Cole slaw and tarter sauce were warm. Water had something floating in it. Waiter was rude. Several people came in and walked out. We should have, also. Not sure if this the same as Tulsa location but, we love Tulsa Fox and Hound.
Great great great
This is one of my go-to places to watch a game with friends. Friendly staff, and one of the few bars in the area that will accept large reservations, although I wouldn't put all your eggs in that basket- I once made a reservation for 10, got there 15 minutes early, and ended up waiting for 2 hours before my party was seated. Still love this place though, food is quite good as well.
Just stopped by tonight after work on a Thursday night our server was excellent, we went as a large party and he was very attentive, I havent been to this place since Covid, and the drink menu got fansier! Free pool and table tennis is a plus!
Alex was the most profound and professional server we’ve ever had!Last night my husband and I were looking for a place that is open late. I called ahead to make sure their kitchen would still be available. I didn’t expect for a place in Johnson county to be open so late! From the moment we arrived Alex treated us with so much care and attention my mind was BLOWN. She was running the entire floor by herself. As a former waitress myself I know how stressful it can be. She even let us know she was short in the kitchen and offered us every accommodation possible to make sure we were well taken care of. The level of customer service was just absolutely unmatched. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Alex for being so incredible
