The food here is good. So why only two stars?You can order large soup in the store or on the phone, but not online. This hasn't been a problem in the years we've been customers. Until recently.Twice in the last two months they've put the wrong soup in a call in carry out order. The first time we let it slide. It happened again tonight and required another trip to their location (not a fan of their egg drop soup). The kicker is for going out of my way to fix their error we got what we should have had at first.
The food at this establishment is fabulous!! It is fresh and served hot right out of the wok!! The staff are so accommodating - the customer service is just over the top. Go early in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays because they do a huge takeout business and there is limited seating in the restaurant. Or go later in the evening it probably slows down after eight or so. The food is the best Chinese in Kansas City hands-down.
Very good! The food is always delicious. Hearty portion sizes. You get what you pay for, for sure. This place is a frequent eat for me and my family!

This is the best Chinese food in Kansas City. Their food is always fresh and their egg drop soup is so amazing. We have been coming here for about 20 years. It is consistent and I have never had a bad meal. I love their Mongolian beef, Springfield chicken and wok roasted chicken. The owner is so nice too. It’s just a great restaurant.
Great food and service. And they have a good gluten free selection.
This place deserves 5 stars. Great waiters and great portions—especially the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Other favourites include Mongolian Beef and Lemon Chicken. You will leave this place feeling full and feeling good.Here, the food doesn’t give you a buzz like other Chinese restaurants. Can’t taste the MSG/no after effects of eating here. Your whole family will enjoy this restaurant so, if you are in the area, give this place a try!
My wife and I ate here for the very first time, recommendation from my Brother and his wife. We loved everything we ordered. I live 2 1/2 hours away and WILL come back.....quit looking at any more reviews and go in and eat here, you will love it.
I love the their lemon chicken! Great atmosphere created by a small restaurant in a strip mall. Service is also very prompt and attentive.
