The food was good but the service was the worst. I had to stop the assigned server and ask him to take the order. After being seated he started assisting three other groups and forgot our existence. He finally stopped to take the order and i asked for a glass of ice. He agreed but he did not come back and walked by the table three times taking drinks and empty glasses to other tables. I have never been treated so badly and I will not visit this location again. It is not worth it.

Went out to lunch here here with my fam. As per usual delicious food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy to bring home to my wife and and a pancake for myself. Idk what my companion ordered so anyways the highlight of my dining experience was a young african-american female. I forget her name which for which I do apologize but her waitresse-ing was so on point it was KRAZY.For example when we first got there we were super in-depth with our conversation and the 2 times she came and took our order for drinks and than food were at the best times another person could've intruded. So 5 ?'s for sure based upon our dining experience and how fast we got our food and by how nice they were. I would definitely recommend ? ? ☺
Came for a relaxing breakfast. Not a word was spoken to me by the woman who sat me. Things went well with my waitress until I had to ask about a side of bacon that took 10 minutes to arrive. The waitress then explained to me it was sitting in the window… wow. Good food but poor attitude from the wait staff. I’ll not be returning to this location.
We absolutely loved our brunch today. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing and Claudia has been the best waitress ever. We are looking forward to returning.
Good solid breakfast with plenty of healthy and good for you options. Service was great make sure you sign up to the wait list online via Google or their site. Saves you the Hassel of getting there and then signing up.
Got a gift card for a birthday. Figured I'd just try their food. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the ham melt. Chicken salad was meh. The ingredients aren't my typical way of making chicken salad. The ham met was actually pretty good. Nice toasted crunch with mine. I got the Tomato soup side with both. Really liked the soup, thicker consistency. Which is the way I like my soup. And the taste was pretty good, temperature was about perfect on the soup. Warm but not too hot to burn your mouth.I may update the review as I go more often and try other things.
Normally, I would give First Watch 5 stars. But this last time, we waited almost 15 minutes just to get water on the table. I had to stop our waiter and ask for it. Also, for the first time, I had to send my eggs back because they were cooked wrong. The staff there were still very polite, and it seemed like they were short-handed, which could have contributed to the issues I experienced. But it was still disappointing.
Wonderful experience. Hostess and server were top notch. The pancake was probably the best I have ever had in a restaurant. IHOP not even in the same ballpark. Eggs and bacon cooked well too. The soft drink (Coke Zero) was, I think a little pricey, but not a deal breaker. I will return soon.
I dined at the location at 9120 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, Ks. The foodwas very good. My server Claudia was great! I plan to dine at that locattionagain soon.
