Great food! Great atmosphere and Great Service! Visiting from out of town and this place did not disappoint! Every dish was very flavorful and big portion sizes! I highly recommend this place! We had a big party and actually had a private room in the back! It was awesome!
Service slow. ? Taco shell was stale and no AC on a 95 degree day. Low quality tacos. Guacamole was good and inktial Salasa with chips was good - mild.
We went online to find out how late we could go to Coco Bolo as we had to work till 8:30pm. Online, their website shows a reverse Happy Hour from 9 till close. We arrived at 8:50pm, and the hostess informed us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. I asked bout the reverse Happy hour as we had been there last fall and the food/drink was included in the Reverse Happy hour. Well, the waiters told us only the drinks were on the reverse happy hour. We ordered our drinks . The Sangria I ordered tasted like it had beer in it. I informed the waitress who said others had told her that. I asked for the house margarita. It was awful. It was so bitter and I couldn't drink it either. Needless to say, this evening out was a wast3ed 50.00 meal. We will NOT be returning or recommending it.
A very comfy and welcoming place. Beautiful location and awesome staff. Their bartender, Kae, was super friendly and absolutely hilarious. All in all it was a great time. We will be returning!
Tonight I ate at coco bolos and let me tell ya, I had some of the best service I have ever had. My server Abby suggested some great items on the menu that I enjoyed and she kept my drinks full! I will defiantly be coming back for the avocado taco and to have some more amazing service!
Since the original in Manhattan is closing I am forever grateful that we have a Cocobolos to frequent. Is the menu different...? A bit. Is it still fantastic? Absolutely!I stole their potatoes and serve a variation of them for breakfast at our home... and that is the highest praise I can give. It is a place of delicious inspiration.The Tijuana Trainwreck... is legendary
This place used to be better. Food quality has decreased. Margaritas weak. My steak fajitas was rubbery and at $16 a plate for them that's not cool. Left most of it on the plate. Chips and salsa good though. Saw a server behind the bar use their exposed finger dig something out of someone's beer before they took it to their table. Just pour another guys. This can be a good place with some help!
I really wanted to love this place because the vibe was great, but the experience wasn’t a good one at all. I will say everyone was very nice including the waiter, waitress and managers.I tried to be patient because I know many companies are short staffed at the moment. We went at 1p on a Sunday. It wasn’t very crowded so we were able to be seated immediately. Unfortunately there’s no social distancing nor were any employees wearing masks.Our waiter completely forgot about us. Thankfully we already had chips and salsa. I didn’t like the salsa at all. The cheese dip was delicious. I ordered a steak taco and a mahi mahi taco. The steak taco was very tasty, but the mahi mahi taco was a joke. It was a taco shell full of cabbage with an index finger sized piece of mahi mahi. I’m not exaggerating. The beans were cold but they along with the rice tasted okay. The waiter misplaced my credit card, but thankfully found it. Dessert was served with a dirty spoon. Then I was overcharged for our food. Thankfully the general manager was contacted and my entire meal was reimbursed.
Great and unique Mexican in a cozy environment with superb service. We went for restaurant week and I ordered the Evil Chicken which was excellent crispy and spicy and served with really crispy potatoes. Also try the dessert chili - yum!
Found this place by accident and so glad we did. The flavors are unique and delish. Dylan was our server. He has a great personality and was very helpful in what we were to purchase. The salsa are so good, I could of just drank the regular salsa that comes to your table. Worth a try for sure. Will be back soon!!!
