Burnt ends!!! We’re fantastic and the macaroni was cheesy and creamy!!
The food was fantastic. I had the PK meal and the Smokey's Mistakes chopped beef was excellent. perfectly smoked, sauced and served. Wow. The staff were very friendly and great as well. Highly recommend and will come back. Well done!
So I will start with the good the employees here were very friendly the man at the counter gave me a free sample of a side before deciding what I wanted which was very nice. The cheesy corn was great and the burnt ends were juicy. The downside was this meal was a very expensive lunch at 21 dollars. Also the meat was not very warm. Overall not bad but improvements could be made.

Amazing BBQ. 1st the wife had the turkey sandwich with fries and beans. I had the burnt end bowl. The cornbread cubes were great and the burnt ends were awesome. We both thought the beans were good but spicy. Ate them anyway. The service was lighting fast they had our food out before we sat down. AWESOME! THESE GUYS ROCK. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu. Thanks guys awesome vist.
Good, but too expensive now with new menu.Buy meats by the pound weight, add 4.00 PER side,So my friends 2 meat with 2 side dinner plate was a wopping 35.00! His sides were just beans and rings.I can go many places where this would be priced 15.00 to 18.00 or less. They are not paying his higher rent at 135th and Metcalf area in Johnson county either, lol!I had cheeseburger and fries. Cost 10.00, a standard price. It was good enough I would order again.
WOW!!!! I can't say enough AMAZING things about this place! If you haven't tried their food, then I highly recommend going ASAP! The burnt ends were so tender they practically melted in your mouth! Cornbread BITES--- DELICIOUS!!!! The staff are super friendly and down to earth. Very helpful to their customers! Genuinely good people and service! Everything we ordered we raved about to each other! I would eat here everyday if I could! There are several sauces and I suggest trying them all! We will be going back in the near future!
Even by Kansas City standards this is really good BBQ. The meat is tender and delicious beyond belief. The standard sauces are a bit sweet for my tastes but they have a wide variety that ranged up spicy enough for everyone. And the sides keep right up with the rest. Add in attentive service and it's a great place to eat!Pro tip - Try PK's Mistake. Best tasting mistake ever.
This was our first time at Burnt End! The food was AMAZING! The meat was so tender, and the sides were tasty. There were lots of options. What we loved the most was the customer service! All the workers were so kind and were genuinely interested in making conversation. We would highly recommend this place for the food as well as the high-quality employees!
Disappointed. The burnt ends were good but you get a small pile for $13. We got 1 pound of meat and 4 sides, or total was $45. We might have had a better experience if the staff were helpful, they seemed to be upset that there were customers.
