Great food and excellent service. Salmon was delicious. Grilled Steak and chicken with mushroom sauce were perfectly cooked. Fine beer selection. Only neg, the 3 short rib tacos seemed skimpy, especially at $12.
I had been looking forward to coming here for my 21st birthday, but the bartender refused to serve me due to my license being vertical, despite being of age. This was extremely disappointing as I had family coming to join us later in the night. We ended up having to change our plans super last minute. This was a terrible way to kick off my birthday. Would not recommend coming here, no matter your age.
One of my favorite places. I just wish the bartender would listen. Customer service is a dead art no matter where you go. I wanted time to enjoy my soup and a couple of pints before the main course but of course the main course shows up half way through the soup. Minor in the scheme of things I know, but that’s what I asked for and it soured my experience. She just didn’t care to listen.
Visited the place for the first time with a friend. Tried the glazed salmon and it was amazing. Loved the food, ambiance and everyone was so polite and nice.Would love to visit again with family and friends.
Nice waiter. Nice to sit outside. Food: Poutine was just average - no actual meat, just gravy, not much flavor and cheese curds init were not hot. Chix bites fried ok. Entrees, steak fries and adobe salmon not great. Overall disappointed in the lack of flavor.
My Mother's Day dinner at Barleys was probably the worst meal and experience I've ever had in a restaurant. They had a "special Mother's day menu" that was 1/4 of their original menu. I asked if I could order from their regular menu and that was a no. They didn't have the first 4 beers we asked for and when we finally got our fifth choice it was warm. I wanted a healthy salmon choice that was listed on their usual menu but compromised on fish and chips which was hardly edible. The place itself desperately needs a make over. I sat in a booth facing a table covered with dishes that were piled and remained there throughout our meal. I used to love Barleys, their menu and great food but I'll never return. Just terrible.
First time here and it did not disappoint. Had spinach artichoke dip on happy hour. It was ok. For my meal i had the bone-in pork chop. Around 10-12 Oz. Cooked to perfection. It was served with onion risotto and Brussel sprouts with bourbon apples. One of the best pork chops in a while. Katie was bar tender. Super helpful. If you are a beer person…TONS on tap.
