Popular spot! There was a line of people literally waiting outside the door. True authentic Chinese working here. I was able to practice my Mandarin and that is always a plus. They are however OUT of several key Chinese Dim Sum items. That hurt their review. As it is important to forecast and manage out. I was unable to sample popular dumplings because of this.
Have been here twice for the dim sim and have always really enjoyed the food. Also got fried rice this time and it was very good also. Need to get down to this place more often.
My friend and I tried so many different dumplings. We started with a cucumber dish and it was absolutely delicious. We had soup dumplings, pot stickers, egg custard and coconut buns and more I can’t remember the names of everything had. My only disappointment was the bbq pork buns were out already, but I’ll try them the next time. The service was quick too, always filling our water glasses and checking on us.
I’ve been eating here since I was in high school. This place is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the Kansas City area. The foods are simply awesome, flavorful, and tasty. The owner couples are super nice and very passionate about culinary arts. The wait staff are also very professional and helpful, as their recommendations are always my top picks! If you are new to the restaurant, make sure you try the potstickers, walnut shrimps, salt and pepper pork chops, and seafood hotpot.
Bad food bad people!!! Will never come here again!!! Chilli in the sweet and sour Not listed on the menu for anyone who is allergic to chilli. It cost .50c for a half way full container. The crab rangoon have barely any filling. The meal was not even wrapped so the fluids got on everything. What is the brown stuff in the middle of the white rice? Also no refund because it was an online order.
The restaurant serves the best pork and shrimp siomai. If you are a tofu lover, try their tofu with brown sauce. Service is fast and with free unlimited rice.
Good Service. Decent Prices. Dumplings were good. Buns were solid. Definitely over hyped (Compared to great restaurants) I doubt I’d return.
Food is mediocre at best. Mostly jar paste ingredients. I would have at least put 2 stars but the waitress who I have not seen till the end of dinner. Wanted and demand we give her tip money for no service rendered on her end.
Amazing authentic Chinese food. We tried a bunch of items if the dim sum menu. All the items were fresh and came quickly. We will definitely be coming back again.
I was in the mood after work to get something from a downt to earth country cafe so I saw ABC Cafe and thought I could get a chicken fried steak there. Turns out it was a really nice Chinese restaurant. When I came in, I was greeted with a great amount of hospitality. The place very clean and friendly. The food was very nice as well. Got myself some steamed shrimp balls and the chicken & eggplant hot pot. They werent expensive and my meal added up to $16. I left impressed.
