The family had subs today. First time here and we got the Big Dipper, Meatball, Reuben, California Crab, and the Ham and Swiss. The wife said the meat ball was light on sauce but good. The youngest one could not eat the whole Ham and Swiss. The two oldest enjoyed their subs. I had the Big Dipper. It was good and the aju sauce was not overly strong. I only got one pic of the subs because everyone else dug in right away.
Food and staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
When I walked in I asked, what makes you better then any other sub shop the guy told me "fresh ingredients and every sub comes hot" Well I was wanting Tuna. Warm? Hmmm I thought ok. After ordering and getting my chips out came my hot Tuna sub. After placing my sub down he was nice enough to say if you don't like it warm. I can make another at room temp. Now that's good customer service. I enjoyed it and I really enjoyed my lunch break and will definitely return to try other hot fresh subs.
Amazing local sub shop. I was really impressed with the toasted bread.
Food is good, albeit a little overpriced. I was frustrated that we came here because I had $13 in rewards, including a birthday reward that they emailed me about this week. When we went to order, they told me that all the old reward program wasn't good anymore. So why did I get an email about this reward two days ago?
Just want to say how much I appreciate this Planet Sub restaurant. They have remained open through most (maybe all?) of the pandemic. The staff is friendly and upbeat. The sandwiches are tasty and hot. The iced tea is just right and the fountain always has lemonade to season it with. The service is quick. The tables are spaced far apart and usually for lunch it's not busy. Thank you for being here!
Nothing really fancy here, just great food. Sometimes that's all you need!
The sandwich was delicious but they did not follow the special instructions I added via Uber Eats. I also ordered a salad. There was no dressing, plastic ware or napkins.
