Have always had great experiences here. Went to order online on Mother’s Day and as I was placing the order the site said the location was offline. I called and was told it would be over an hour. I thanked them for their honesty and tried elsewhere. The other restaurant was dishonest about their time. I should have waited for Mi Ranchito. Y’all are my go to place for sure. Honesty pays in the long run.
So, after going to Mi Ranchito roughly twice a week, normally for lunch, we decided to do dinner at the restaurant. Initially the staff was friendly, the seats and table were clean. Ordered our drinks and an appetizer. I asked for a 20 oz draft beer, was served a 16 oz plastic cup and was told it was a 20oz. Our appetizer arrived, and appetizer plates were placed at the table but no utensils. Our utensils were finally brought and to our dismay, were dirty, with stuck on food. Upon further inspection, 3 of the five plates also had dried food on them. The staff did replace the our utensils but not the plates. We ordered and received our main dishes but one plate, the Friday special, had both shrimp shells, and crab shells in it. We called the waiter who promptly took the dish and offered a replacement. The manager came over and asked what had happened. Upon being told there were shells in the food, he argued that it wasn't possible. We showed the shells to him and he still disagreed. Upon receipt of the check, they charged for the plate, of which only two bites had been eaten. We expressed our concerns over the dirty plates, utensils, the shells and the argumentative manager who told us that we were wrong and that we shouldn't tell him he was wrong. The manager further disliked being told he was wrong and told us to never come back to the restaurant. A female manager did eventually intervene and did apologize for the event to wish I replied, "after coming to the restaurant on average twice a week, per the other manager, we would not be returning, they've lost us as customers."
I judge a Mexican restaurant by the salsa and chips. This place has the delicious thin white flour tortilla chips and delicious fresh salsa with just the right amount of chunkiness. I had the chicken flautas, my hubby had the Jalisco chimichanga and my daughter had the deep fried tacos. We all really enjoyed our food. Our server was Lizbeth and she was incredible. They were very busy and this girl was on it! She was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this restaurant!
They have a very large variety on their menu everything I've had so far has been great. With multiple locations across the metro you can depend on having a great place to eat any side of town I had the Jalisco ChimichangaGrilled chicken and pico de gallo stuffed inside a flour tortilla, lightly fried and baked covered with Monterey Jack cheese and cream cheese, served with black beans and rice. And it was dellllicious!!
I judge a Mexican restaurant by their salsa and chips. This place has light, thin flour tortilla chips and their salsa is delicious and fresh, just the right amount of chunks. I had the flairs and hubby had the Jalisco chimichanga. Daughter had the deep fried tacos. All was very good. Our waitress Lizeth was awesome, they were very busy while we were there and she was on it! She is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend you try this delicious Mexican restaurant!
This is a great little spot to enjoy delicious Mexican food. It is a must to get their Espinaca cheese dip as an appetizer. Delicious. Beef tacos of course have great flavor but don’t sleep on the shredded chicken tacos! Crunchy, fried or soft, their shredded chicken tacos are amazing!
Did take out order was incorrect. I Usually dine in food is always excellent just a simple mix up on this carry out order. Will still dine in often.
Delivery was horrible, taco salad was not even in the bowl, it was ALL OVER THE BOX. We did not get some of our side orders and when we called they basically called us liars. Yet another reason I dislike this place. We order from them alot when we have company Birthdays.....NO MORE!
Fantastic margaritas, two are good three are dangerous. Designated driver preferred.
We love Mi Ranchito. The food is consistently fresh and always tasty! Happy hour margaritas are 2 for $7, and they’re wonderful! The wait staff is friendly and attentive, so Chips and salsa bowls never sit empty! The kid’s menu has many food options and comes with a chocolate chip cookie, but sometimes you have to ask for it after the kids eat. They also have a drive up window, for call ahead orders, plus curb side pickup is available. You can order margaritas to go, but they are only available at the drive up window. The restaurant is clean, women’s bathroom has a diaper changing station. Outdoor seating is also available when the weather is nice. Adjoining parking lot provides easy parking. There are TVs mounted in some areas, for the sports people!
