The lady behind the counter put my order together quickly and was friendly. Didnt let anyone see any signs of stress with the ever growing line. They need to give her some help and have at least two people working during the morning rush. The boys loved the donuts, the wait was worth it!
Ewww......havent been in awhile but I am pretty sure they have changed ownership. Arrived at 8:30 am on Thanksgiving morning and all the donuts had this old grease lackluster dried out shine on them. Definitely did not look fresh. Rack near the door had Feast magazines in it that were still bound from last spring. Decor is non existent, what there is looks like they bought it at a garage sale. Donuts were just ok, nothing knocked my socks off. Show some pride in ownership and spruce up the place. Would b more welcoming if the heavy set guy in the corner helped out the lady bhind the counter. Instead he just sat there silent and stared at people. Should have gone to McDonalds in same parking lot instead to get pancakes.

KC Donut has a fantastic selection of donuts that keep reminding us of times past. They aren't fancy like some of the other places in Kansas City, but they are priced more reasonably and served fresh. They sell out every day. Bonus is the employees!
I want to like this place but it's so inconsistent I've given up trying to support it. Hours say 530-1130 but I'm not sure why because they never make it even half that.Went today at 8:20 am and they were closed. I've tried 5 times in the last two weeks because it's on my path to work in the morning, they were open one of those times and had literally like 6 donuts left before 9am and like others stated, they tasted old. I get that donut shops close when they sell out but as a business owner you should have the decency to update your hours to reflect your business, especially considering that she told me that they sell out at that time everyday.
The people there are nice, and I enjoy sharing their donuts with my family. Prices are lower and the quality is higher.
Donut holes are good but other donuts get old fast
My first time visiting this morning. A great young man helped us. He was so pleasant and had the best smile. So refreshing to receive great service. Most people don’t even make eye contact anymore.
Great donuts. Staff is always smiling and cheerful.
They've changed something. Many of the donuts have too much glaze on them. It makes them way too sweet. I don8 think I'll be back.
