Regret going here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were seated between a sunny window and a view of the kitchen through the large swinging doors. The wines available by the glass are standard bar and grill offerings. My Chardonnay was actually served in a acrylic wine glass. Not the upscale atmosphere we were expecting. The waitress had no wine knowledge. Kept mispronouncing Chianti. The bread was the best part of the meal. Salads had bagged cheese topping. There was also a bowl of grated cheese on the table, so no freshly grated cheese at an "Italian" steakhouse. Far worse was the "crab" stuffed shrimp. There was no crab in that bready stuffing. Even the shrimp were old or over cooked, kind of gummy. They did remove the shrimp entree from our bill, but I had that taste in my mouth for a long time. We won't be back.
I felt the quality of food for the price was out of bounds. I spent three nights at hotel and there are better options at more reasonable prices elsewhere. On my final night there the service was terrible, bartender avoided helping and wouldn't accommodate a request for dessert even though there were three people in the kitchen.The breakfast buffet was a good spread with a good selection and tasty. Only improvement would be coffee. They never were able to make a good cup of coffee.First night at hotel I appreciated the bartender and his humor. Bar felt homey and relaxing. Dessert was amazing.In general, I will most likely return as they are located in a nice hotel. Preferably I will just stop for a final drink before bed and enjoy the buffet in the morning.

The bar is an awesome place to be. Bar mgr Joe n guys are fabulous and friendly. The ambience, food n patrons makes this a go to when in Olathe ❤️

The staff were all excellent. The wine amazing. The food could have been better tasting and bigger portions for the high prices. Our kids tried every kids meal option they offered and loved them all.
My wife wanted to come here for Valentine's Day, so I made reservations. She use to come here a couple of times a year and always really enjoyed it. She hadn't been here for about 7 years, so she was really looking forward to a great meal. We arrived and there was nobody at the front, so we got the attention of a water who let the hostess know people waiting at the front. We told her we had reservations for 7:30 and she said ok. There 3 people walked in behind us and said they were meeting some friends. The hostess took them ahead of us and let them to their table. I was not happy about this but I didn't say a word. We were seated moments later. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as she took our drink orders. Soon as she brought the drinks she asked if we wanted an appetizer and we said we haven't decided yet. A few minutes later she came back and asked again, so we got the toasted ravioli. That arrived at our table in 3 minutes from the time we ordered it, probably sitting back in the kitchen or heated in the microwave. Our waitress then asked wanted to order for our entrees. I told her we would like to enjoy our night and we are not in a huge hurry. We both felt like we were being rushed to hurry and order from the time we sat down. My wife had the Filet and Seafood Rockefeller and she said it tasted really fishy but the steak was pretty good. I had the Heart of Italy Combination with steak, fettuccine alfredo and chicken parmesan. It was smaller than I expected and it was ok. For dessert we had the Terra Massu and it was ok aswell. Don't think it was worth the money.
Every single time my husband and I come here it’s always a problem, not with the food but with the service.No one is ever at the door to greet customers so we sit there for at least 5 minutes. Then when we are seated it’s another 10 minutes before wait staff comes. And another 15 for drinks.We’ve come with other couples and they were not impressed with service. Definitely our last time coming. Hire people that want to actually work, manager as well.
My boyfriend and I come here multiple times a week. We are greeted by Meghan, one of the managers, who always has the biggest smile on her face. She remembered our faces the first time we came in and has always shown us flawless service. Every waiter and waitress is professional. We are quick eaters and the staff never fails to meet our demands. We will continue to come here as long as we live in Kansas!
Bruce is always great. Food was delicious. We will be back soon.
