San Francisco, CA 01 6/5/2022 Johnny's BBQ Olathe was the BEST catering decision we have ever made! This was a congregational dinner and at the last minute I was able to add 10 more people to the list! The brisket was SO LEAN - and the turkey/chicken/potato salad and coleslaw were absolutely delicious. Not a DROP was left over. Everyone kept asking who made the dinner so I am sure Johnny's will be getting a ton of catering requests as well as new dine-in/take-out customers. Thank you very much! Barbara R. 6/3/2022
WOW. The meat is WOW. Got combo plater to test different pieces and all was outstanding. Total delish.... I will have to make this place my new lunch spot.
Food was delicious and service was great! Server was very friendly and attentive to our needs even though it was a busy night. The atmosphere and everything there was great and my kids enjoyed it all. Only thing is that I wish the large fries had a bigger portion served as it did not seem like many, but overall everything tasted amazing. We will definitely go back soon.
Ate there for 1st time yesterday. Had a great sausage sandwich. French fries were nicely crisp. The slaw had to have been home-made. It was delicious.Staff was very friendly and efficient! Friday at 5:00pm was hopping with customers. Always a good sign!
Fantastic BBQ sandwiches! I ordered two large Beef (brisket) sandwiches and one large pulled pork one to go. Sandwiches were huge and tasty. Meat was extremely tender, plenty of extra sauce, excellent large fries, and very tasty baked beans.
Not a top tier KC BBQ spot, but not a bad place to check out for a last minute option if you don't want to wait in line. I would not recommend the burnt ends. Decent flavor, but dry.
Love there food, we got the combo and shared,and each got a side ? my favorite was pulled pork and sausage. There was 8 of us had tables ready when we arrivedService was great ?
We are big BBQ fans, so we Ordered a big on-line order for pickup, to feed 8 hungry people. We didn’t receive 4 of our sides, so no baked beans and no cole slaw. We also didn’t get a single pickle!?! They also didn’t get the drinks right. The fries were hard, fring onion rings were so dry they were inedible, burnt ends meat by the pound was dry and ribs were tender but fatty. For $160, I was disappointed. I will go to Joe’s on Strangline,next time. Their food is always good and they serve pickles with every meal!
Last minute Chiefs tickets and you can't tailgate without BBQ! Johnny's staff was more than helpful as we were unprepared and sent us to the game with ribs, burnt ends and some awesome baked beans! Couldn't have been happier with the experience and the outcome of that wild Bill's game
