All the kids on shift when we went to this location need serious training. A grub hub worker had been waiting for his order way before we even got there. Another customer was heading back in as we were entering, to have her order fixed and we stood there for at least 10 minutes and still not had our order taken. There were no other customers inside. There were at least 6 kids working and a manager that I believe was arguing with his girlfriend in the parking lot. If having to wait is the worst thing that happens in my day, it's not a bad day... having said that, it's frustrating watching at least 6 teenagers wandering all around, staring at things, looking confused and not doing anything. They made it clear through their actions of cracking jokes, talking with each other and goofing off that they don't care if they have customers or not. One kid dropped a blizzard on the ground and then proceeded to just stand and stare at it for 2-3 minutes before picking up the cup to throw away and just leaving the spilled ice cream on the ground. They made it clear that they didn't want to do their job. We ended up leaving and in the time it took us to drive to Culver's, order our food and receive it all, we would have still been waiting to even order at Dairy Queen. We were in and out of Culver's in about 10 minutes altogether. They were also extremely busy inside as well as drive-thru. Even with a full house they were extremely pleasant, efficient and so polite! It's sad because DQ is a childhood favorite and it looks like they'll be headed out like Orange Julius and just a nostalgic memory.
The kids need to be trained. I watched the girl with the long swinging braids purposely bump so hard into one of her co-workers then walk off, rolling her eyes. It was so aggressive and completely ridiculous. It took forever to be served, yet there were so many kids working inside. Some just standing around. There was no clear direction and the people in the drive-thru kept leaving to go to the back for some unknown reason. This place is a zoo.
Staff had no clue what they are doing. We ordered a dip cone and two blizzards. I was asked to repeat myself numerous times. When we got to the window we could see 6 people standing inside. I was quickly asked if I ordered ice cream, not verifying what I ordered. Only two of the six workers actually did anything other than stand around. So, it took way longer to get our order than it should. The dipped cone was barely covered and they got one of the blizzards wrong. Both blizzard cups had melted ice cream and ingredients all over them when they were given to us.For spending $15 on 3 items, I have to say I won't be going back to this location.
Waited in drive-thru for between 30 and 45min. Then got half my order and had to wait another 5min for the other. Thought my ice cream was going to melt before I got out of there
Preordered an ice cream cake for a friends bday. It wasn’t ready long after the time they said it would be and had to reconfirm what needed written on it when I got there so wasn’t even ready when I arrived.
We frequent Dairy Queen each week. Tonight again there’s no chocolate ice cream why? Also the vanilla had a weird color , texture and taste. Very sad at how this business is going down the drain.
Waited 15 minutes for for my order to be wrong went and waited another 10 minutes. When I went and I handed the whole bag to them they give me just my sandwich so I asked if I can get new fries since they're cold he rolled his eyes grab a box of fries then tried to hand me them separate to so I asked if I can get a bag and he grabbed the old ripped up Gracie bag that was handed around to like 4 people and just pointed at that without saying anything. Horrible horrible service
Haven't been to a DQ in years, this one completely exceeded my expectations. I remember the old one on 151st and it was eh. But this one was well staffed and seemed to be well managed. We were met with a very nice staff that ensured we got what we needed. They were patient and helpful, but most importantly, everyone working appeared happy. A+ for this DQ, definitely worth the trip.
Very slow. Walked in and they said be with you in a minute. Then took 5 minutes to take our order. No one else in store? Also not very clean. Tables ok floor not so much.
Love this Dairy Queen . If you have a soft serve discontinued favorite, they will still make it if they have the ingredients. They also have great coupons.
