As a dead beat dad this place is really great. When I have the kids I can make them like me more than they like their mom by taking them here and buying them whatever they want! Thanks Austin! Your the best!
Awesome place. It may have above average prices, but it's well worth it. Delicious food, plenty of sports, nice smelling bathroom... All-around great.
My friend, who is going thru chemo, finally had a good day, and wanted to go to Austin’s, as they have and outdoor area. With doctor’s orders, she can’t be in an enclosed area. We chose mid afternoon, as that is the least busy at this location in Olathe. The server was very nice when he told us we had to leave that space in 15 minutes, as they had reservations for 35, (half of which didn’t show up), and another reservation for 15. We asked if there were places we could move to and stay outside. The owner was scurrying around and made no attempt to assist us. We asked about umbrellas for the outlining tables. She said she had no idea where they were. We had to leave at that point, taking food and drinks with us. The upsetting thing to this is my friend finally had a good day to get out and have a good time.
Visited Austin's many times. Had the 'Santa fe Chicken' this round which was served with rice & broccoli. Everything was hot and tasted great. Special thanks to Jordan for her attentative service and customer focus.
Sorry no pics. Typical pub / sports bar motif. Excellent service and food was very good. Enjoyed a quick business lunch.
Adison is the best server I’ve had while out. I’m a server myself so I tend to be a bit critical and she surpassed my expectations and was very attentive. 10/10 recommend.
After entering it took a while to be seated even though no one was in line or ahead of us. There is a large sign that says “Please wait to be seated” so we did. The food was fantastic, however, the service was not. I had to routinely get up from our table to ask for help or stop waiters passing by for help because the waitress assigned to our table was so inattentive. Had the service not been so terrible it would have been an easy 5 stars to give. As I was leaving, three hostesses watched as I struggled to hold the entry door to the restaurant open with my body while trying to push a baby carriage through with my baby inside. They didn’t move from their podium to hold the door open for the baby and I to exit safely nor did they offer a verbal “do you need help?” Interestingly, the waitress assigned to our table that gave such terrible service initially, did adjust her service toward the end of our patronage. A different waiter even came to our table later and said he would be taking over for our waitress, but he too was inattentive. I ended up tipping the initial waitress $20 in hopes that the next time she has a Black female customer she will offer excellent service from the very beginning and perhaps spread the word to the rest of her team to do the same.
Chill, local sports bar and restaurant. We sat at the bar and the bartender recommended the delgato chicken wings with blue cheese dip. They were delicious. He also made me an extra spicy bloody Mary that I really enjoyed. There are lots of TVs and the volume is on for games.
I stopped in for the first time with a couple of friends for a bite and some drinks after work. I ordered the cheese steak sandwich, which was FANTASTIC.I got an overall good vibe while I was here. Everyone seemed to know each other and was very friendly. Drinks and service was the best! I'll most definitely be back again to this local gem again!
We keep trying Austin's and are usually disappointed - tonight was no exception! The difference is I am posting a review. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Sandwich - which is a very tiny chicken breast with a couple slices of bacon and a bit of swiss-- no flavor! I also paid $2 EXTRA for a loaded baked potato as my side-- came barely done with NO BUTTER OR ANYTHING ELSE! Strike three!!
