Food was great, server was great. Only reason for 4 stars are that it was pretty empty and we had to wait 15-20 minutes standing at the door for a table. Many different employees coming out from the back seen us but nobody sat us.
Worst service. Had to seat ourselves since the girl walked to the back when we came in and never came back out until we sat ourselves and said something. Needless to say, I Got sick immediately after having a few sips of margarita there.Better go anywhere but here!!! And was charged for meal even though had to leave and didnt even get to eat. HORRIBLE!
I stopped here passing through Tuesday evening to have a few beers and dinner. I always sit at the bar wherever I go, and I watched the bartender sling drinks, and she was extremely busy. She had a full bar and the restaurant was pretty busy and she rocked it!!I frequent Applebee's consistently and I have to say that this bartender, Marianne, has been the best Applebee's bartender I've ever witnessed. She was great with customer service, consistency and speed.I ordered the salmon which I've never had at Applebee's before, and I have to admit, it was quite impressive.Thanks Applebee's for having rock stars like Marianne who show the world how it's done!And thanks Marianne for being you and being awesome!??
I believe this Applebee’s must have the best management and staff than some of the others around the KC Metro. While all the menu items are the same I believe it is the people at this Applebee’s that sets it apart from the rest. The food just taste fresher, served hot off the grill and all the excellent service you could expect. Thank you Olathe Applebee’s for what you do.
On consecutive, horrible car side to go orders, the last was beyond comprehension. We were told the order would take 15-20 minutes. After 3 calls and 30 minutes later, a lady came out with the order. There were three cars in the designated car side to go spaces. She went to the first two and both denied the order was theirs. She never came to my vehicle! In fact, she brought the order back inside. She then came out and gave the order to the first car and went back in. I could see their bewildered faces as they looked around. I had to get out, go to that car and get my order. My wife received a call after I left, saying they’d bring the order right out. LOL! The car side operation is a joke and should be an embarrassment for ABs
Horrible! Our three drinks were delivered over a forty minute span. This place is dead, I count 6 other tables and 8 staff. Our waitress had one other table she served desert to when we sat down. No towels or soap in the men's bathroom so informed staff. Staff eventually placed soap on the counter, apparently no key for the dispenser. Same with towels, placed on counter. Obviously towels and soap is a new concept, little concerning considering the kitchen staff that uses the restroom apparently does not wash their hands. Food was okay, but never coming back... to Applebee's.
I just waited in the front for 5-10 minutes and no staff ever came out. No hostess, no bar tender or waiters. We just left because it was foreshadowing of the service to come.
First they refused to put my chicken fingers in Buffalo. Kind of weird. Not sure why that was big deal. They knew kids were in car with my wife but didn't care. 48 minutes into a 15 minute order they acted like i didnt exist. I asked 2x about the order bartender just blew me off. Manager never came out. I ended up leaving. This place is a wreck. I used to love eating at this location. Starts at top. Team mirrors It's leader.
Only one waiter/host and one manager on duty and it was very busy. But the waiter did great and the food turned out great definitely will be back just hope they get some help
My husband and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day early. Our waitress was very polite and apologetic, but it wasn't enough. When we first got there I had ordered a strawberry margarita and couldn't wait to taste it but unfortunately I never got it. We waited and waited and waited, and finally, I grabbed the waitress, and before I could say anything, she said I am sorry about your drink I have to wait for the bartender to make it. I figured it would just be a little bit longer. Nope, I knew our food had to be coming out any minute, and I still didn't have my drink. I finally gave up and told the waitress to just cancel it. Then, my husband and I had both ordered the crispy chicken salad. I don't think there was a single piece of white chicken meat I could see on my salad. It was all fried skin. I couldn't even eat the majority of it because it was so hard. To say the least, I was quite disappointed. They weren't that busy, so I don't see why I couldn't get my drink in an appropriate amount of time. Like I said before, the waitress was very nice and even apologized for the service that night. So, she even knew that things weren't right.
