Absolutely wonderful! The service is always spectacular and the food is magnificient!! They give true portion sizes (enough to feed the family) and I enjoy all the vegetable dishes they have on the menu. We're regulars here and I can say WITHOUT A DOUBT this is the most authentic chinese cuisine you'll find in the area, if not Central Kansas! They serve dishes that reminded me of my stay in China and the flavors were matched precisely!
This used to be my favorite chinese restaurant, I have gone here for 8 years. I love the spicy boiled fish and the stewed eggplant. Recently we got doordash from here. We all got sick. In addition, the sauce was all over the bag. The sesame chicken was all mushy and had sweet and sour sauce all over it (!???) and the eggplant was not as good, mushy and just not as tasty with a different sauce, it as so disappointing. While we realize that in the midwest take out packaging skills are always not up to par with cities and styrofoam is a go to - this was beyond unreasonable to have all the sauce come out in the bag. I am currently trying to get a refund from doordash. I really hope that they can hire a different cook (the cook must have changed) and get sealable eco friendly and healthy take out containers that do not spill the food. Here is how to package take out. 1 Large paper bag with cardboard in the bottom. Add a container, add cardboard. Add container and stack. Then put the whole thing in a large plastic bag. Fold and staple the paper bag shut.
My husband and I loved everything! The eggrolls/sauce, crab ragoons, sesame chicken and chicken lo mein were amazing! Very clean place with nice service! Only complaint was I didn’t see a public bathroom? But food was great!
I always have a wonderful eating here. The service is friendly and the food always comes out well.
The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, even though she gave my bf the wrong order by accident. She was so sweet about it and trying to fix it, but we were fine. He loved his food. The drink not so much. It was expensive and almost all got thrown away.I'm simpler and ordered sesame chicken. I wasn't too crazy about it and thought it was too overwhelmingly sweet.
Always fresh and fast and very good food. They are always nice and good service. Best Chinese food around the area.
Ordered a Hot pot for my weekend dinner, they gave me the Pot first and we had to wait nearly an hour for the topping (why?!) even though there was no waiting dine-in customers at that time
Food was pretty mediocre, especially the fried rice, which was totally bland. My boyfriend’s chicken lo mein wasn’t great either, but the sesame chicken is fine.
Always friendly service! Food is pretty famn good too! Only issue I have is with the too go containers leaking in bags.
I deliver for Ubereats, and I usually wait on Moro St. for deliveries and have delivered multiple times for tasty China house. Prior to this they have let me use there restroom before, So today I went into their restaurant to use there restroom and the restaurant was dead like maybe 3 customers were in there. The worker stopped me and told me I am not allowed to use there restroom. Said it wasn’t a public restroom. Which I get it if it’s late and a buncha drunk people want to come use your bathroom I wouldn’t want that either but it’s 3:30pm and there was barely anyone in the place. Shouldn’t have been a problem, Especially for any delivery drivers who constantly come there to pick up food to deliver for them. Oh well though.
