We had dinner here over the weekend. We had to wait for a table but it was Friday night. We were able to sit at the bar while we waited. The bartenders were great. Once we got seated, our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. My husband and I ordered Tap Mac and it was delicious. They also had some good appetizers. I love the location of the restaurant- in a trendy downtown area and there was plenty of room to park. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great too. Loved the glass areas where you could see the beer vats and there was an old walk in cooler that was a private room for a large party. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and brewery if you are in this area.
Good beer. Pretty good selection of beers across the spectrum. Many places stop having Stouts when the weather starts to warm up, but they have their "Overclocked" which was awesome. Food was good, I particularly liked the Poke bowl and the Bisque.
Tallgrass warmly welcomed our post-graduation party of nearly 25 people. We were able to dine on the rooftop and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was amazing! The food and drinks were great too. Everyone left full and satisfied.
My favorite food to order is the lettuce wraps! So delicious! Favorite drink is the $5 sangria from the roof top bar! ? Such a neat experience every time we go in there. The staff is great and the atmosphere is ?
Server was great. Food was good and beer selection was solid
Tallgrass Tap House has the very best Crab Rangoon I have ever had. It actually has crab in it, it ‘s a large serving for an appetizer (full meal), and incredibly delicious! You really should give it a try.
Your bill can add up pretty quickly once the beers start flowing.Though, they have 4 and 6 glass flights you can get. Per each glass of the flight it’s $3. The glasses are like cute miniature wine glasses (I’m sure they have a name, but if I had to give it a name that makes sense). Anyways, painting the picture for the price of your flight. There’s about let’s say like 13 beers and 1 cider-ish beer you can pick from. If you like a little fruit in your beer, highly recommend the peach lager beer. Though don’t be fooled by that pineapple one, you can’t taste it.Food, American “US” style food.If you have a party of people, you can reserve the “ice box” which is a private room and away. It’s very busy around dinner time on a Friday night, so keep in mind of when you go, but do go.
I frequent Taphouse because I absolutely love the food. The service is mostly mediocre but this last visit was great! Server went above and beyond for my daughter. Jake from the kitchen also stopped by and made sure everything was great. I ordered the grain bowl which is one of my favorites but I'll eat everything on the menu. Top favorites are poutine, pretzel, Veggie burger and Crab ragoon. &obviously if you enjoy beer, this is the place to try them. Hubby's fave is Ragnarok.
We got fish and chips along with cobb salad, all were good. They have a big selection of beers. Daphne was our waitress and she was quick and efficient.
Overall love the place and food , just wish the server knew more about the food/drinks and or helped with making choices especially if we bring new people to dine. I also found it annoying how I wanted to order a cherry on top , but I can only order it if I was seating on the roof top?
