The person at the register looked like he hated his life and acted like it as well. It was an inconvenience to do his job of pushing buttons and taking orders. WHILE you can hate your life… you at least try and cover it up like every other retail employeeHe acted like it was the end of the world when I ordered a cold brew.We paid 26$ for 6 tacos and they all came like the picture. I didn’t get my cold brew either. I waited assuming they would be busy. It wasn’t until we were ready to leave my husband went up and asked for it AGAIN. Things happen, but it hindered the experience.We agreed we would never go back and we stuck with it.
I love Taco Johns but I went through the drive thru on the evening of 5/23/22 and ordered over $30 worth of food for my family. I had a 25 min drive home and when I picked up the sack to go into the house, I didn't notice it but the bottom was so grease filled that all of the food fell out onto the ground. I was furious because potato oles, chips and nacho cheese sauce etc spilled all over the ground. I have been trying to call them for 2 days now and no one answers.
I love Taco John's food. However, last time I went, they got my order completely wrong. My wife and I thought maybe they switched our order with somebody else's based off how badly they messed up the order. That being said, even with the order wrong, the food was still good for a reasonable price (although we paid for 2 large orders of potato oles and didn't receive them at all). They have good Tex-Mex tacos, burritos, and their potato oles are delicious. They are crispy on the outside with a nice soft flavorful center, and topped with just the right amount of salt. I sometimes go to Taco John's just to order the potato oles. They only reason I'm giving it a 4 star review instead of a 5 star is because they don't always get your order right. This last time was not the first time they've messed my order up. If they would improve their customer service, I'd gladly rewrite this review to a 5 star review. That being said, I would still highly recommend going to Taco John's for quick, cheap, tasty Tex-Mex.
Excellent customer service! Food is always excellent, workers always have a great attitude, and order is always perfect. Glad they are back!
We ordered a ground beef burrito and a grilled chicken taco. It was repeated back corectly. When we recieved it we got a chicken and onion burrito and a grilled beef taco????? What a suprise when we got home!

Somehow the owners or managers need to let the public know how soon they'll be re opened. I love Taco Johns and miss my fix.
Superb Super Burrito! Enough space for busy lunch time. Great deal collaboration with yelp, so I got $2 off. Food was worthy enough for waiting in line for a while. Nacho chips for free ;)
I think the Manhattan Kansas Taco john's would have been reopen already if they would have tore it down and started from scratch. It has taken a year now and still nothing is happening with it since the fire. It would have been easier and faster to do a rebuild than wait a year for nothing to happen.
Always great service. Food is usually great. Today was just a bit off. But thats ok. I'd still come back!! Clean store. Clean restroom.
