I went there for lunch, we were seated pretty quickly. The food was a bit slow coming out but still fresh and perfect temp. My only complaint is I asked for an energy drink, and was told they don’t carry any. But they have a full service bar? I am pretty sure I have gotten one before, and the waiter grabbed it from the mini fridge behind the bar and explained some special charging. So I was disappointed, even more so when I got watered down lemonade instead. Might as well had water.
We went to Longhorn for my daughter’s birthday and really enjoyed it. Our waitress was very thoughtful and attentive, making sure we had refills and that everything was satisfactory. My daughter and I loved the perfectly medium cooked steaks just like we asked for and my other daughter enjoyed her ribs enormously. The baked sweet potatoes are always delicious!
We came here for our anniversary this year. It was our first time and probably the last. Food was pretty good, but not great. I could tell when we walked in that it was an upscale place (compared to TX Roadhouse). The prices did reflect that. It was more expensive for less and not as good food. The waitress made us a nice anniversary dessert. It didn’t taste good but the thought was very nice and gave us a smile!! Next time we’ll definitely ditch this place and head back to TX Roadhouse!
Manager was rude. Was told by host she would be seating us soon as there was plenty of tables, and we could see there were plenty open tables. Manager comes up and he states, it’ll be a while, then seats a couple that came in after us. I guess if you’re going out to celebrate after a graduation with 6 people, don’t go to Longhorn Steakhouse in Manhattan Kansas, it inconveniences the manager.
So this is my wife's favorite steak place. And I suppose I should admit, it is mine as well! The steak (Renegade sirloin - medium rare) has always been juicy and delicious. Loaded baked potato (with all the fixings including: the bacon, whipped butter, shredded cheese, sour cream, etc.,) makes my mouth water. The salad is cool on my palette with it's summer fresh ingredients and house-specialty ranch dressing. The Texas tonion is onion ring bits on steroids! And last, but but not least, everlastingly fresh homemade complimentary bread with whipped butter that your grandma would make when you were a kid, keeps multiplying throughout your meal experience!Do Not drive by this place without giving it a try, you'll be happy you did!
Emily was a fantastic waitress. She went out of her way to make sure we each enjoyed our meals. All fantastic meals - the sirloin, lobster bisque, and even the old fashioneds were worth having again! We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the very clean facilities. This was our first time at a Longhorn Steakhouse and we will be back! Thank you!
4/18/22 Less then 10 minutes to be seated. Food was hot, server her was the best. There were large 3 groups on this day 10-15 per group. This did not slow him down. Our bread was hot, not warm. Very nice attentive server.
Second visit and everything was great!Had the “Outlaw Ribeye” which comes highly recommended.Noah, shift manager, remembered us from. An eventful December visit when we had to shelter from a tornado in the kitchen!The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Nicholas served us and was just perfect.Our new must stop place on I-70 when headed toward Denver.
Great setting for personal and or professional setting to choose for dinner/lunch . The drinks and meal choices are a in affordable range especially for the steak choices and drinks. My favorite was the stuffed mushrooms. They were filled to my satisfaction of cheese. The steak as you can see speaks for itself. I didn’t need to add anything to it. Very soft, juicy and medium well just like I like it. I did have to send it back to be cooked a little longer; however the server understood and handled everything very well. You will definitely have a great time.
Did not enjoy the food either visit. The table next to us also had issues with their food. It's just not worth it to me to try again. The wait staff were pleasant and we were happy with that part of the visit.
