The food was not very good, the mashed potatoes were bland and chunky, but they did give me a different side dish of green beans. I ordered a butter cake, it literally tasted liked straight butter. I know it’s called butter cake, but I feel like a dessert isn’t supposed to taste like straight butter. I am never going here again.
I ate at Houlihans on Anderson Avenue in Manhattan, KS yesterday evening with two friends and we had a wonderful, friendly, helpful young man for our waiter. His name was Dominick and he went out of his way to be helpful and efficient. He was a delightful young man, hard-working and headed for a great future!

I am giving 4 stars for being inconsistent. Their service is hit or miss which I understand due to staffing but the menu is pricey. Food is always good. I enjoy all of their desserts! Cocktails are pretty good, I enjoy the Strawberry Basil drink. Really the biggest opportunity is staffing to be able to serve the guests. When you call, sometimes no one answers the phone. Sometimes it's a wait for things from the server. But I can see from the management that they are trying to make changes.
Absolutely wonderful. Food was amazing. Drinks great! Service was spot on. The owner was so friendly and I enjoyed our chats. If I come back to Manhattan I would definitely come back here.
Went here for my birthday and had the worst service. 25 mintues to recieve drinks, another hour and 15 minutes for our meals to be served cold and got our appetizers after receiving our cold dinner. Our waitress didnt even bring our food to us, someone else did. Ordered another round of drinks and recieved them warm. Mind you the restaurant wasnt busy that night. Definitely will not be coming back here again.
The food is great! The Filet Minon melts in your mouth. This is our new favorite place to eat! They were very busy last night with Valentines dinner dates and we had to wait for a table, but we knew it was worth the wait!
This is a $15 salad!? Two stars because the ahi was good. Maybe some more lettuce next time, Hoolihans? Geez.
Burgers were undercooked, forgot to put 1 order in completely, waitress needs to pay more attention to her table and learn to read when to ask if they need a refill. They did comp $10 for each of us, party of 8.
