Really nice breakfast. Except that the " Fresh Fruit " was not completely fresh : Canned pineapple and mostly grapes .Our Westcoast Skillet ( hold the bacon) was very tasty . Split Plate was ample for the two of us . Refill coffee to go and Friendly waitress.One more side comment : Not a big deal, but if you are looking for a Restaurant Without the hungover college students, this has mostly young families, up to Seniors, THIS is the place in Manhattan.
Busy time during Saturday morning visit, but no wait on seating. Service and food were expeditious, as well. Skillet breakfast and waffle combos were delicious. Plenty of food, leftovers from most of our group. The pancake might have been the only disappointment. It was huge, maybe about a 10" diameter. It was a little denser than any of us were expecting. So that may just be personal preferences causing the bias. One likened it to pancakes that Boy Scouts might make while camping. The other 2 (also scouts) concurred with the comparison.
One of the worst places. Bland food, horrible service, dirty silverware. My kindergartner could make better pancakes.
This wonderful place was near our hotel so we tried it out. The first thing I noticed was how neat all the supplies, ketchup, and mustard were very neatly and I might add very cleanly stationed at various places around the restaurant. The employees were very friendly and professional. Happy to help us and start our day out nice! The food was great and well priced!
My husband really enjoyed his meal, I got pancakes that still had some raw batter inside. The home style potatoes were very good. Cappuccino was very sweet.
We are here on a Sunday morning. The food was good and plentiful, but didn’t blow us away. It was good basic diner food. By 8:45 or 9 am there were people waiting outside, so arrive early. Service was good, everything appeared clean.
The food doesn’t justify the wait. We waited almost an hour (we were told the wait was 15 min) and we were skipped twice to be seated. They told us we wouldn’t be seated without our entire party here and we couldn’t call ahead. They sat 1 person who held the table for a party of 12. Another couple told us they have always been able to call ahead. Will not be coming back unless every other breakfast place is closed.
Good bang for your buck here. Lunches come with perfectly cooked steak fries and a nice sized side salad. Our waitress was friendly and quick without hovering.
This has always been my go to Restaurant for whatever I'm craving. Service is more than efficient. The food is always cooked at its best. The food portions are large which is perfect because I can take it home, and save it for a midnight snack! I recommend Early Editon to anyone who's craving lunch for breakfast or who's craving breakfast for lunch!
Great value, good food, fast service...what more do you need to say?
