Margarita was the only good part of my meal. The appetizer beef burrito was stuffed with rice. Could hardly tell the hamburger was in there. Very bland. I ate two bites and couldn't eat anymore! Not worth it! Yuck! Waitress only brought two bowls of salsa with the chips! There were three of us eating together. I would only return for the margarita. It was on special for half price! Took awhile for us to get it. Several items in their description included a bowl of soup!!! Typical Mexican? I will not be returning! Much better Mexican restaurants in Manhattan!
Mexican has always been my favorite type of food. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants and was happy until I moved to California in 2012 and tasted Authentic Mexican food for the first time. Since then I've been disappointed. Every time the Navy stationed us to a new destination, I would look to find an authentic place to eat and only to find that there were none. Now retired and back in the Midwest I figured I would never get authentic Mexican again, until I ate here. This place is amazing. The food is off the charts authentic and the staff/owners are awesome. I recommend this restaurant to everyone now. You won't be disappointed.
So glad we chose to try El Sol! Will 100% be going back. Authentic Mexican food, with homemade tortillas. It did not disappoint. Aside from the amazing food, the staff was friendly and on top of it too.
This place is delicious! The breakfast burritos are authentic Mexican burritos, and the biscuits and gravy were amazing. I ordered online and it was ready and hot when I got there. I will absolutely be coming back! What a great family run place!
The best quesabirria tacos are made here. They are so unbelievably good. I also ordered a margarita with my food but it was so sweet that I couldn't finish it but the food at least was good.
Unbelievable food and drinks. Had a fantastic time and the prices are great. The staff is excellent and so quick even when busy. Definitely recommend and will be going back here so many times in the future!
By far the BEST Mexican food I have ever had in Manhattan KS. Tell your mammi your pappi your sister and your uncles. Hands down will never go anywhere else if I'm craving mexican!!! Literally blew my taste buds to Mars and back on the first bite! Highly highly recommend ?
Nice environment and authentic Mexican feel. There even was bottled soda from Mexico. The one downside is that their menu doesn't have as much as what is on their social media and trying to bring up what they have online is limited due to a language barrier with the staff. They did have a bar but no drink menu. Overall, the taste of the food helps make up for what is lacking. I hope they stay busy, grow, and really become another great restaurant for Mexican food.
Really not bad they open eailer that is plus for eating lunch . The breakfast ends an 1030 and lunch takes over. Food is cheap with ok falvors. Not homerun but eat will get job done if your hungry.
Hands down the absolute BEST Mexican food in Manhattan!!! This used to be a food stand on McCall Rd that I visited frequently, and I was heartbroken when I heard that it closed down. I was so happy when I found out that they had opened a full-service restaurant on 3rd St., and now I go there with my family all the time. The staff is so friendly, and the food just knocks our socks off ?? I try to get something different every time I go, and literally everything is good - you seriously cannot go wrong. They make everything with love! Highly recommend ❤️
