KC is a desert for good pizza. BBQ no problem. But Toppd is by far the best pizza out of the 2 dozen places I’ve tried. Delicious. Moderate priced. I’ll be back
Topp'd Lenexa Public Market I have to give a huge shout out, what delicious pizza you all are making! The other night we ordered up a cheese and pepperoni (look at those delicious huge slabs) and a Margherita with basil chicken and fresh basil added. A side of their baked meatballs and 2 orders of cheese garlic bread.OMG, we were delighted! Crispy crust, bold flavors in the pizza sauce, absolutely delicious pizza and those meatballs were perfect texture and taste. Tasted homemade, I can't confirm, but try for yourself and you'll see. We hadn't had Topp'd since before the last 2 years of shutdowns, wish we had not waited so long. Thank you Topp'd, one of our new favorite pizzas in KC and conveniently located close to home at Lenexa Public Market
I have been very disappointed lately. Being my favorite pizza place, the personal touch and being able to customize any pizza is now a headache. You now must order from a machine and not a person. The ability to tell them what to put on it, add more, change the crust, add a little bit has to be put in by you typing it out in the end and additional comments. I have to give them more information, slow down my ordering, hold up the line, and hopefully get what I want. Now they text you when it is ready. I am literally standing at the counter. Not happy.
If you aren’t in the mood for pizza and are looking for a sub sandwich this place hands down has the best Italian sandwich I have ever had. The flavor profile was fantastic and I won’t get another Italian anywhere else but here from now on.
Topp’d pizza had excellent pizza at previously excellent prices. Now they have gutted the ability to flexibly customize the specialty pizzas and as well as hiking the prices, ALSO changed the pricing structure to charge extra for individual toppings. Even a single custom veggie topping on a small pizza is now $0.50. In my book this turned Topp’d from beloved staple to irrelevant waste. To be clear, any one of these changes would have been reasonable, but all three at the same time is a bad omen. Simultaneously, there has been a gradual decrease in quality, especially if the ingredients, and a precipitous plummet in the amount of food actually on the pizza. Basically paying a lot more for a lot less. It’s also worth mentioning that their ordering system change also wiped any progress in the old loyalty system.
Parents beware! The worker refused to add an additional topping to the kid's pizza even with a surcharge. Don't bother with this place.

Me and a lot of my friends came in to get some food after leaving the rec came to chill and get some food, I had ordered some cheese bread and a drink, after that my friends orders the same thing. My friend gave me 5$ cash to buy him some cheese bread because I had card and the place is card only, I walk up and I’m waiting to order and out of no where the lady starts to yell at me that she is done serving us because we were ordering too many things, mind you me and my friend only bought 2 cheesy breads and 2 Pepsi’s so we didn’t buy many thing but she told us she was done ordering us and told us to leave and then one of the market owners came up to me and told me and ALL of my friends to leave and all of them didn’t do anything wrong and some of them were just sitting down and chilling. This place closes at 8 and didn’t order us when it was 6:30. It’s so unfair that I’m trying to help my friends get food and pay them for my food and they kicked us out into 10 degree weather it’s no where to go.
MARSHA DENIED 3 Young black men services. I went in to speak to her she Got very hostile he son threatened me say he is real black and will shoot this place up. I am so upset that this Hispanic lady talks to black kids like that he had spent $30 there and requested a cup of water and was denied it. I demand those cameras to be Ran back and the way I was treated I know she treat those young Blk boys Worser. She proceeded to Threaten them with the Police This will stop NOW. I live within walking distance to Lenexa Public Market and have visited Topp'd at least 20 times. The food has always been pretty good and service has been adequate, however today will be the last day I give them my business. I was there for lunch around 1pm with my husband and son to order a pizza and salad. First of all I stood there for 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there even though the place was empty. Then a woman came over and asked what we wanted, didn't look at me at all the entire time I was trying to order.I was telling her what to put on my pizza and salad and she continued to not look at me as I tried to tell her the toppings I wanted. There are big plexiglass screens between us, so I was trying to speak up as loudly as I could and told her "no mushrooms" or "no olives" and still not looking at me or even trying to get it right. After putting mushrooms all over the pizza, I told her I said " no mushrooms" She started screaming at the top of her lungs that "I told her mushrooms" and I needed to speak up. At that point we turned around and walked out, and as I turned around EVERYONE in the place was staring at her and in disbelief that she was acting that crazy. Keep in mind it is the middle of lunch and we are their only customers in line. I have only left good google reviews in the past. This is the first negative review I have ever left.We ended up going to Spin! Pizza up the road and had a wonderful lunch. They always have great service and great food.
