I can't say enough good things about the sandwich here. The Italian beef and cheese is where it's at. I imagine the pizza and Chicago dogs are good too, but I can't stop ordering the beef and cheese. The bread is not rock hard but isn't doughy either. It is the right texture for a sandwich like this, especially when you have au jus sauce to dip it in. It doesn't fall apart. The flavor of the sandwich is perfect. Put the giardiniera on it and it adds to the flavor with a touch of spice too. You won't need a side to go with the sandwich, it's pretty large and is an entire meal by itself. They do offer sides though if you are able to make it past the sandwich. This place should be on your must visit whether you live in the KC area or are just visiting. The staff is always friendly and service is pretty fast. I give it 5 stars for the staff, the food, and the price.
The italian beefs here are by far the best in the City. I am a huge fan of italian beefs and have tried just about every beef in Kansas. This beef without a doubt is the most delicious beef. Their hot dogs are also authentic chicago dogs and they are excellent as well. Their thin crust pizza is amazing and if you are feeling a little wild you can get a beef AND a slice.

You won't get ambiance here. But you'll get damn good food at a great price.Wife and I came here for lunch. Both of us ordered the italian beef sandwiches with cheese. Comes with au jus and giardiniera. It was delicious. The bread was perfect. The food was served fast and fresh. We will definitely be back because this is the only place I know where you can get legit chicago style food (dogs, sausages, italian beef).
This place rocks. Just got a few classics. Pep pizza and a chili dog. Hot dogs are the best in town. Pizza is crispy cheesy and melty. Will be back soon.
Holy moly! Our first time in today. We just got back from our first trip to Chicago and fell in love with the food out there! After a quick Google found this gem! We got the Italian beef sandwich, Italian beef pizza and a Chicago dog! We can't stop talking about how delicious that was! We will be back ASAP!
They serve the best Italian beef and Chicago dogs west of Chicago! I have been eating here for 17 years. The service is great and the food is awesome. I highly recommend the Pizza Man in Lenexa Ks.
Food is delicious and they have a wide variety. My kids really love the pizza! Highly recommend this place. One of our go to places as a family!
Great thin crust pizza, excellent Italian beef sandwich, and Chicago dogs that use Veinna got dogs, they have polish sausage as well.
