What a treat!!! Looking for non-chain steak place for dinner and found a goldmine!!! Taking an old Quiznos and turning into an intimate, stylish and fun, fantastic eatery is a feat in itself, but the kitchen in the dinning area completes the ambiance and atmosphere! And then the food… omg… when my picky teenager says it’s one of the best steaks (tenderloin filet) she has ever had, it is a statement. The Burnt Ends Mac and Cheese to die for and potato purée with steaks was amazing!!! Do yourself a flavor and visit ASAP!

what are SOME highlights? where to begin... for one the atmosphere of this beautiful petite place is incredible! the owner is extremely approachable and always there. Hard working gentleman who puts a touch of love in every dish he offers. Staff is all very well trained and top notch service to say the least. the desserts are out of this world. the wife and I seem to get a few Togo everytime because we can't miss out on any of them. By far our favorite restaurant in the whole Kansas city/Johnson county area. Probably our favorite restaurant we have actually ever ate at. We will be there tomorrow night to get our fixing. It's an addiction that's not meant to ever be broken to us. ROCK ON AMD CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW LOCATION!
Good service and great food!We started off with the smoked sausage appetizer. It has an excellent smoky flavor and the red cabbage and mustard compliment it perfectly. The house salads were good and the house made dressings were quality.For the main course I had the fish special, which was a halibut filet accompanied by some potatoes, wilted spinach and a tomato sauce. Wonderful! The fish was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The only small downside was some of the potato slices were overcooked. Everything paired well and the sauce tied it all together. The lady had their salmon entree which was also excellent and flavorful. The kid went with their Mac and cheese and she said it was awesome.We rounded the meal off with a fresh bread pudding. The bread pudding was topped with apple slices and a caramel sauce. It had a good texture that wasn't overcooked or dried out.
Interesting little spot, food was delicious and came out promptly. Our waiter was incredible nice and the whole staff was sweet. Overall, I can say the old man liked his bday dinner!Also, the bread pudding was incredible! Very custard-y and not dry at all!

I wanted a date night spot and found this gem, a real hole in the wall. What a surprise inside it was cozy, warm, food is cooked on wood fire. Everything we tried was delicious. My only suggest is a little less salt on the fingerling potatoes my other half don't eat much salt so he didn't enjoy them. We had 2 smoked salmon Crostini it was yummy that why we had 2, Rack of lamb was soft and full of flavor not disappointed by the cherry sauce. Also had a side of mushrooms and green beans. I was truly impressed. Dessert was bread pudding with apples it was perfect not overly sweet. We will be coming back for date night and would recommend to any one who wants the ambiance.
First time here. We ate at the bar. The bartender was so nice. Scallops and mushroom risotto was outstanding. The fresh fish of the night was awesome. Short ribs for an app was so good. Flavor was on point ! We will definitely return for another night out. Everyone was so nice and introduced themselves to us.
This was our first time at Sierra Grill & we were blown away by the amazing service & sensational cuisine. We weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into when we walked in. And then immediately after trying the shirt rib and sausage with red cabbage apps, we were enthralled. Three of us ordered the ribeye -- it was pure perfection! The marbling alone was out of this world. Add in the flavor, texture, temperature & it was exquisite. We will be back!! The owner stopped by each table, introduced himself and seemed genuinely pleased to have each of us there. It was the icing on the cake for all of us.
