I don’t know if I’ve ever received customer service like I did at Rudy’s recently. First off, if you’ve been you know there isn’t better Mexican food in KC. From the minute we walked in the door Devon took care of us, making sure we could sit at the bar, answering our questions & then coming up with a solution to what we wanted to eat. We had fish tacos & street tacos which were out of bounds! Rudy’s & Devon, you’re the best!
it was amazing!!! the al pastor taco’s and charro beans were great!!if you love real Al pastor tacos you must try these, some places say it’s al pastor but they don’t have the true seasoning and made with pineapple in the marinate,i would give this place 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s!!!!! we live alittle over hour away and try to come as much as we can.
The food was wonderful ...but what was really exceptional was our server! I accidentally left my credit card on the payment tray with the receipt. My family hurried off to our cars. Apparently the server tried to catch us before we left but was too late. The server gave the card to the manager for safekeeping. They had no way of contacting me so they waited for me to realize what I had done and contact them.It's good to feel reassured there are such great people around...and they are working at Rudy's. From the front door to the back door, I'm impressed!I hope I never lose my credit card again but if I do, I hope it's at Rudy's! We'll be back again and again for the delicious food AND the great people!
Wonderful food! Plenty of alcohol in the frozen pre-made Margaritas.
Lunch today was so good had the 3 beef taco special and a really good classic margarita on the rocks. The service was really good got everything quickly
Their street tacos are some of the best in Lenexa. I highly recommend trying them all but the Barbacoa, and the carne asada have got to be my favorite. Also ask your server for the spicy salsa if you enjoy some heat!
We used a coupon for carry out. Food was good as always, but they forgot a couple of items. No chips for the guacamole and no tortillas with the entree. They put fried potatoes in instead of the tortillas. My advice - eat inside.
Place was clean, people were friendly, reasonably priced. Salsa was more tomato sauce versus salsa so wasn't what we generally like. Food came out quick, flavor was okay, nothing really special about it, filling but not flavorful. Waitress only stopped by when we were almost done asking if we needed boxes when refills would have been nice as our drinks were empty. Had to ask for those, never asked how we were doing or about our food, seemed more ready for us to leave versus our dining experience. Place had quite a few customers so other people must enjoy it, but not a place we will visit again.
Service was great and food was even better. First time going. Street tacos for myself and my little guy had the fajita quesadilla. Will definitely be back to try more options on the menu
