So good! We come to Lenexa Public Market probably every other week. We live in Olathe but it is worth the trip. Red Kitchen is amazing. We have had the breakfast burritos, absolutely recommend the chorizo if you want a kick. The carne asada and pork street tacos are to die for. My wife is a big guacamole fan, you know, even buys it at chipotle. Red Kitchen has cracked the recipe. It’s good all around. If you want to get it to go, I recommend the tamales. Again, so amazing. It’s a shame we can only give 5 stars.
I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. We ordered the queso fundido with poblano peppers from their online menu. They made it with chorizo instead of poblanos. Since I’m vegetarian I couldn’t eat this so brought it back up to the counter uneaten to exchange it for what was ordered. They said the cashier didn’t hear correctly and that we would have to pay again for the correct order. They also wouldn’t give the first order with chorizo back until we asked several times even though we paid for it. Very disappointed in how they handled the situation and will not be returning.
The best Mexican food in town! Everything is fresh and awesome- can’t go wrong no matter what’s on the menu!
Place is Legit if you find yourself in Lenexa on a Saturday you have to stop for some breakfast burritos.
We order some chicken and pork tamales in Red Kitchen Tamales for my friend birthday party yesterday and they were outstanding! I had tried so many tamales but these were by far our favorites and everybody in the party was complementing them. Really good service too and the people there was super nice! Totally recommended
The burritos are good but not enough value to come back unfortunately. If you don't mind spending $9 on two really small burritos, you'll be happy.
Some of the best quesa birria tacos I've had in KC! This place does not disappoint.

BEST Birria tacos/consome & BEST Chilaquiles in the area hands down! My husband is Hispanic & is very particular about getting authentic Mexican food & let me tell you THIS IS IT! We love this place.
Love the breakfast burritos with bacon or chorizo. They are served with salsa verde snd always delicious!
