Bar manager and night staff have issues. We had a baseball team, travel often, never have issues. These two think they are running a prison. Total joke; we will take our 5 trips with the group a year to KC elsewhere. The hotel has been in a state of renovation for 4-5 years. It’s old, musty, mildew and smoke smell in most rooms. Avoid unless you have nowhere else to stay and sleeping in your car isn’t tolerable, it’s that bad.
Air quality was warm, stinky. Hallway carpets were filthy. Room had maintenance items needing addressed. Felt un-safe. Had a reservation, but was put in a room that did not match without being advised, had to return to check-in and request a correct room.
Just a dark dingy old motel. Bar is only open 4 hours and intermittently at that. Restaurant is only open for a mediocre breakfast buffet that has free coupons available (it might be worth free but not the 8.75 they charge). Smokers consistently hanging out at the entrance making it hard to get to the entrance and stinking up the area. The room was fair but only ONE bedside table. So if you have a CPAP or other devices you keep at bedside during the night you will struggle to fit it all on the small bedside table. Vinyl planking instead of carpet in the room which should be an improvement but after wiping up some water I spilled turned out not to be very clean. Countertops too didn't feel particularly clean. Really can't recommend this hotel unless you get it really cheap and don't plan on spending much time in the hotel. Shop around!
The halls were dirty, the pool was filthy, the floors in our room were filthy and our AC didn't work. The person running breakfast was extremely rude and staff were rude to our boys. The only bright spot was the professionalism of the bartender.
This place is Dirty, falling apart, not worth the money, and has multiple smells like a veterinary clinic and a locker room. The internet did not work and the shower was falling off the wall. I wish I could take my stay back.
Front desk very unprofessional seems to be overloaded with working. Place is unclean in general, a lot of pple loitering around. Cigarette buds everywhere. Creepy and dirty. So much confusion at check out coz my my designated room were under someone
This hotel was chosen due to the large group of player and their families that were attending the games.\\nthe hotel did a good job turning the motel into a hotel appearance. The first night the staff wonderfully accommodated us to change our room due to our neighbors.\\nOnce we woke up the next morning is when we notice some red crawling bugs. I let the front desk know and to this day still have yet received a call about the matter.\\nSpent and additional $40 to wash and dry everything at high before returning home off the trip at a laundromat.\\nI tried my best to my due diligence at 12:00 am by inspecting the room once we got in. Then I check for any evidence of infestation didn’t see any on the mattress, but I believe they came from underneath the bottom box spring or platform because of where they were found on the blankets and we notified the staff.\\n\\nRadisson now it is time for you to do your due diligence and exterminate the rooms.\\nAlso, with Covid and families that have children with breathing issues, it takes less than 5 minutes for you all to clean the vents in the heating and cooling system. I left them out so they could be cleaned.
This hotel was extremely dirty. I reserved a room with two beds and received a room with one king. We got to the room and there were blonde hairs all over the bed sheets that we had yet to sleep in. Plus my whole family are brunettes. The bathroom faucet was rusted out. There were still food in the fridge raider from a previous stay. It was extremely loud. There were lots of kids running the halls until 3 AM the two nights we were there.
It should be noted that I am not hard to please when it comes to hotels. I stayed here one night and I slept well and felt safe while there. The room wasn't super fancy, but it was clean. I love that the rooms aren't carpeted. The price was right and I would stay again with my family while passing through KC.
Not sure why my review was deleted. We stayed one night as we were traveling for a softball tournament and had a block of rooms. The room was confusing to find, some maintenance person finally helped us. Hotel is not very clean, we had ants crawling around in our room. The pool has a green tinge to it, and was hot. The hot tub was colder than the pool. The icing on the cake was when one of my party found a dead fly in their eggs at breakfast! We promptly found accommodations elsewhere. Was told to send the photo to the general manager about the bug in the food, never got a response back, not that I was expecting one.
