Good Pizza And drinks fast and warm when I get it so five stars very good place would recommend
You might want to let your delivery driver know that it’s not a good idea to flip off a resident to the apartment complex they’ve delivered to for simply motioning that they’re going the wrong direction down a 1-way street. Especially with the Papa Johns light on top of their car. ??♀️
This Papa John's location in specific was outstanding. 87th and Loiret. It was busy as hell, the inside is super small, and they had a lot of staff there. Even with the plethora of orders I overheard the employees complimenting each other on doing a good job, verbal assurances of lite at the end of the tunnel, and managed to wish every driver a safe trip on deliveries.I worked in the pizza business for almost 15 years, and they were flawless!
Was our go-to pizza place. However, last time, they got our order wrong and didn't catch it, which happens occasionally. They have made it right in the past. This time, we called back and couldn't get through. We contacted their online support and received an email response survey asking about how their follow up was. Checked the box that they never responded and received a message that they would be in touch soon. Rinse and repeat three times. Very sad.
I ordered a pizza at 8:30 and didn't have a pizza in my hands until 11:00.Delivery drivers from this location used to be able to find my apartment no problem, but lately I've had to give multiple rounds of instructions before it gets here and tonight the first pizza never arrived at all. My tracker just said it was delivered and I received nothing for a 40 dollar order. After calling in to ask for another pizza, I was told that the driver said he left it outside of my apartment in my building without knocking. That's not doing the job at best and outright lying at worst.I believe it was lying because I was checking outside my door and never heard anyone walking around my building (thin walls) plus it's always the same guy-an unfortunately disabled man who struggles to find my apartment, and who always knocks when he eventually does.I'm not a hateful person and I know everyone has to make a living, but I believe it goes without saying that a pizza delivery person should be able to deliver a pizza.Much appreciation to Alex who answered the phone. He made the effort to call after the second order was sent out to confirm that it arrived. He also gave me credit towards my next order. I can't wait to use it and wait another three hours lolVery sad to think that, had I not called, he would have never known that I didn't get my order because this dishonest driver reported it as having been delivered. Unforgivable behavior! Alex deserves better!
Placed my order, was told it would be ready in 45 to 55 minutes, I show up 55 minutes later, the girl behind the register looks around tells me yeah it’s going to be 20-25 minutes. She doesn’t even bother to acknowledge the fact that it wasn’t finished or even started on. Doesn’t apologize for the inconvenience of coming to pick up the food. Just horrible customer service, it’s sad. Who knows when my food will be finished hopefully in 25 minutes but who knows. So if your picking up, probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to call ahead or order from someplace else who cares.
My pizza when ordered say 30-45 min delivery almost hr later and this is how my pizza was, and not even warm.
Tonight was a crazy night for orders, but the team were champs. The whole staff juggled over 100 orders and were still professional and kind when helping customers. I wanted to give a shout out to the whole staff for being awesome tonight. And the pizza was delicious as always!
Called at 7:15 on a Saturday night 11-13-21 and told me they were not taking orders, then called back and the said two hours- bad
I don't know their names but the guy with the beard and glasses and the girl working tonight we're awesome! I've came in for pick up a few times now and they always kill it. Probably the best papa John's pizza I've been to in many years of traveling and eating papa John's and for sure the most friendly people. They both deserve raises
