The ‘house’ margarita is ginormous!
Ignore all the negative reviews. I’ve been coming here for years and absolutely love this restaurant! This location isn’t the best aesthetically but food is always amazing! Highly recommend the cream cheese enchiladas or even just the sauce added to any entree. Delicious!
Although this location is far from fancy, it is always a favorite!Great food, generally competent and friendly servers.Good premium margaritas, but the house Marg is good too. Best espinaca dip in town!Sharing an entree? Get the kitchen-split for just a little more and each receive your own side rice & beans.But hurry in. The place can fill up fast during typical dinner rush hours.
Mi Ranchito is what I would call your bread and butter Mexican restaurant. It's a Kansas City staple and not only a solid deal with excellent food but you can count on good service and food that always hits the mark. Very reasonable with bottom less chips and great salsa (I add the chalula for an extra kick).
It was just ok, nothing bad, nothing great. I don't understand how the plate can come out so hot, you could burn your hands and the cheese sauce so cold....I won't go their but it was runny and not warm. Amazing how one visit can change your whole opinion of a chain. Either get plates that don't get overheated in the microwave, or get a thermometer to check the Temps of each part of the meal. This isn't rocket science. If you want to keep ling time customers, fix these issues ASAP. Send me a message after you have addressed it with your staff if you ever want me to come back or suggest you to friends.

I came in with a large group, and I understand those can be a hassle, but they did a horrible job with tracking who ordered what. They were trying to charge people twice, had to ask everyone multiple times what they had ordered, tried to combine checks or give people the wrong things, etc. The food and margaritas were fine, but I don't recommend for a large group.
Cream cheese enchilada was delicious. Not a fan of the rice though it's a little Bland
