Awesome place, drips with old big 8 conference and KU sports history. It’s a must go whenever I’m in Lawrence for a game.
Way more mellow then The Hawk and it feels like your not surrounded by 17 year olds which is cool. Also a great spot to come after getting kicked out The Hawk.

Great college bar! Students and alumni are both regulars ! The inside is rustic with wagon wheels and flags for decor. There’s a few booths where you can sit. They also serve lunch and the veggie burger is great! Prices are fair. Make sure to bring a pen or sharpie to sign your name on the wall! Be careful when exiting the backstairs, they’re metal and sometimes get slick! (Photos are here on a Wednesday, so not the full crowd)
