Excellent food!! The food temperature is hot too! Hasn’t set in the window to get cold!! I don’t live here, but eat here every time I’m in Lawrence!! Super fast too and reasonably priced! Kudos to their team employees!! Great servers and cooks!! ♥️
Unfortunately, Big Biscuit does not support civil rights. In Lawrence, the business erected a fence around a patio area without the required permit to do so. The structure obstructs access for wheelchair users to other businesses in that strip mall and appears to violate the ADA. Better to spend your money at the many other businesses in Lawrence that are support the rights of all and are good citizens!
A chain place is not my usual choice when visiting a new town, but this place had the advantage of opening 30 minutes earlier than anywhere else. Got a good meal of corned beef hash, and the portions were quite sizable. Good service too. Tish was very attentive.
We've only had excellent service and quality of food at this place so I would highly recommend it. Apparently, we are not the only ones to have a good experience, which means we had a bit of a wait for a table, but a tolerable amount of time and I was able to check in ahead of time online. My only critique would be the seat cushion vinyl splitting on its surface but that didn't affect my experience much if I stuck with ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Went for breakfast, luckily got there before the wait line started. We were seated right away and everyone was very friendly. Portion sizes are large and everything was very good. My oldest had The Yard Bird which is fried chicken between a biscuit and covered with gravy. So tasty! Would definitely go back again.
Upon entering this location, the staff did not greet us because they were too busy flirting with each other. When we received our food a question was asked about the egg being on the hamburger. We were told that the menu had changed. When asked if the menu stated there was an egg, the waitress took on an attitude. We got no service from then on and she was very rude. She put all the tabs on the table in a pile and walked off. It took over 10 min for her to come back to take our money. Our change was laid on the end of the table instead of given to us. This was a first time experience for some of our party at a big biscuit. While the food was good, the service will cause us to think twice about returning.
Donald and the rest of the staff are just incredible. Donald went above and beyond what would ever be expected of a manager when my friend mistakenly left her backpack at the restaurant. We were on a road trip to Colorado for the wedding of our friends and did not realize the backpack had been left until 4 hours later. After calling the restaurant, a very helpful and kind employee got us in contact with Donald, who was more than happy to mail her wallet to our AirBnB so that she would be able to fly back to South Carolina later in the week. He then took the time to come back to the restaurant several days later many hours past closing so those of us driving back could pick up the backpack. What would have been a headache and the frustration of a cancelled flight was upended for the better by simple kindness and taking time out of ones personal schedule for a total stranger. Thank you Donald and your staff!
Very little wait time, a good sized restaurant, but well staffed. Service was fast and friendly and the food was great. As the name reflects, buttermilk biscuits and country gravy is there specialty. I had the bigger big breakfast. Lots if menu choices if you don't want the staples.
Excellent. First time I've eaten there but it definitely won't be the last. Service was great, the staff and servers were friendly and the food was fantastic. Definitely worth the cost. I would highly recommend it.
Our server Joseanto was excellent and attentive. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. A few minute wait wasn't bad at all. Def worth it! The food was very good! Props to the chefs!
