Didn't get to eat the food . Dining room was closed . Had a line around the building.
I really like Tacos John's. I won't be going back to this one. They need more training on customer service and food handling as well.
For tex-mex fast cuisine, I recommend Taco John's. The food is wonderful, hot, and served quickly. The costs are modest. Their biggest problem appears to be accuracy. We go there once a week or so. About 20% of the time, they get our orders wrong. However, they get it right 80% of the time. Overall, they do a fantastic job at providing cheap fast meals.
The food was ok. They no longer have the sauces and cups out to help yourself. They have little packages of sauces available but no cups or anything to put it in. The staff is a little withdrawn. Not friendly but not rude. Like they just don't care one way or another. Doesn't seem that they are happy to be there. The floor was really greasy. Everything just seemed dirty and greasy. There are way better fast Mexican food places in Lawrence. It's too bad though, I use to love Taco John's food.
Service was so bad, I wish I could give the zero. The employees refused to pull up mask after whipping her nose and touching food. When we walked in the employees was complaining about customers. They got mad at us and said we don't want your money
We love this place and you can't beat the value on Taco Tuesdays! They do a great job and I'd recommend it to anyone!
I like the lunch and dinner menu, but the breakfast I just tried breakfast burrito and I just have to say I really liked it. I will be back for more many more. I just wish I could get them anytime.
If you like not getting food you paid for, awful service, cold tacos, and a 2/3 full order of potato oles(being generous) than taco johns is the way to go. if you like good service and good food i wouldnt recommend going here
Taco John's always has a great staff. Works hard and always shocked at how much we order. Lol
It was good but dear God their sizes are ridiculous. Their large drink is big enough to swim in and their large potatoe coin bucket could feed an army. But it's good food.
