This place is bright and clean. It has gender-neutral restrooms with a changing table. The inside is spacious, the servers are super friendly, and the choice of flavors was amazing. Obviously a neighborhood favorite, there was always a line at the counter, but it moved quickly, while giving us plenty of time to make our selection.
Just had our first taste of the ice cream here. Absolutely coming back! Homemade and very good! First walked in with a long line but it didn't take very long to get up front. The flavors are fun and creative, they also have the classic tastes.Talked with a woman that comes here frequently and she told me that usually there is a line right out the door and down the street.Will be coming back when passing through Kansas!!
Many flavors of ice cream and the staff are always very sweet! This place is well known and popular, so you will most likely have to wait. But it will be worth it! However, very very few non-dairy/vegan options. No vegan/dairy-free ice cream unfortunately, but there are a couple of sorbets/sherbets (I know at least one of them is vegan, can't remember which) Would really love to see some vegan ice cream come up here!
Amazing homemade ice cream with thoughtful touches and a huge selection.The good: huge selection and superb tasting ice cream. They place a chocolate malt ball in your cone to not let ice cream go down into it, genius!The meh: this place is not a secret, expect a line.The bad: if you cannot have dairy you will be disappointed in their non dairy options
It is an old-school ice cream shop. I do not recommend it because they do not use natural indigents for sorbet and fruit-based ice creams. According to the employee, they use syrups to make sorbet. Therefore, the taste is awful. The cookie ice cream is okay, though. The only good thing is they have handmade cornets. If you go, stay away from sorbets.
The ice cream is extremely delicious.I believe they make the ice cream on site & I've seen staff making waffle cones.The staff is very friendly and helpful, they also accommodate really strange special requests from young children.The prices are very low.Competition to the north (Cold Stone Creamery) & south (Dairy Queen) charge significantly more & have very poor staff.

The best ice ever! Every trip to Lawrence deserves a stop here! The whole place smells of freshly made waffle cones (or waffle bowls). There are so many wonderful choices and varieties of ice cream. The hardest thing is choosing what you want!
Awesome homemade ice cream very fairly priced. I love the 5 different flavors mini scoop option!! The surprise at the bottom of the waffle cones is also brilliant to reduce any ice cream leaking from the cone!
