Brunch seems to be hard to come by in Lawrence, and this restaurant had one listed on their menu. The choices were limited, but the food was quite good. It seemed more like a regular breakfast than a brunch, for example the mimosa was not very good and there were not special coffee drinks. Our server was very nice and efficient. I would like to come back and try it again for dinner, perhaps that is more their specialty.

Great atmosphere and decent food/service. I had the burger which was a tad dry. Wife had the salmon which was good and the Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. Both of those sides weren’t great. Would definitely go back though for the atmosphere.

I got there just after 5. Prime rib was delicious. So was my Kentucky Storm. My Server was Awesome. Wonderful food. Wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Great food celebrating my daughter’s 22’nd birthday.

It was date night for me and my husband at made reservations for 615, but they were nice enough to move to 445... I had the Tavern burger with fries, it was AWESOME! the burnt end were AWESOME too that's what my husband order.... Everything was AWESOME, some may say otherwise, however I would like to reccomend is the bread to be warm, ours was cold, just an FYI! I'll be sure to come back here with family!!!

We were told we couldn't be accommodated in the dining room and got shuffled off to the tavern side. Only one waitress for the entire place on Valentine's Sunday......she was great but had way too much to deal with. Steak ordered medium rare came well well done and baked potato never materialized. So much for a nice dinner with my Valentine. We weren't charged for the steak, but I felt bad that our Valentine's day was not up to my hope and expectation. Not a good experience.

The atmosphere was really wonderful. Dimly lit overall, but there was nice overhead lighting at the tables. The cocktails were delightful and the food was even more delicious than I imagined. And the cherry on top? Phenomenal wait staff. So kind and polite and really just a joy to have around.

Very arrogant owners look at the feedback. They don't even address any of the issues. They have the opinion that you can take it or leave it which is not right in this type of business but it is what it is. My experience there was not very good. No heat had to eat a $50 meal with my coat on when this was mentioned to the wait staff they were Unapologetic. Could not get them to come to the table after the food was dropped off when I finally did Chase somebody down they said they were in the back getting warm. I don't recommend this place at all. I had the chicken Catherine and it left an aftertaste or at least 6 hours after I ate it. Definitely subpar. Lots of choices out there. Spend your hard-earned money where it is appreciated

I have eaten here twice, and the photos are from my most recent visit. Each time I've eaten here the staff has been extremely nice and the food has been amazing. I'd have to say that the customer service is the best aspect of this restaurant, and the food is an extremely close second. Without a doubt, this burger that I ordered has to have been the juiciest burger I've ever eaten in my life. There has never been a time before this burger, that I bit into a burger and had such a huge explosion of flavors, the fries were great as well. My girlfriend ordered the macaroni with chicken and ABSOLUTELY loved it. After this we ate both the tiramisu and orange and chocolate swirl cheesecake; these deserts, both perfectly lived up to the standards set by the amazing food. This tiramisu was creamy, rich and flavorful, with a texture only comparable to that of a cloud. Additionally, the cheesecake was a nice contrast, something we'd both never had before but were extremely delighted when we bit in. If you're in the Lawrence area looking to have a nice dinner, PLEASE do yourself a favor and give this place a visit.
