Basic Lawrence bar, not bad drinks, not totally a cash bar they will take credit card $1 per transaction, run a tab if using a credit card.

I Was in there just a week ago for the first time, loved the music, had a great Black and Tan, overall we had a great time. Went in for a second time at 6pm on a Saturday 3/5/22 to have a back and tan, while my wife and I waited for our minsky pizza.. granted we had our daughter who was not 21 with us.. I asked the bar tender if we could sit at the bar or elsewhere, she said a table would be best. We then were approached a second time by another employee about our daughter who said he would talk to the owner, I went to actually go tab out then and was told that we were just fine.. so we continued to drink our beverages. Fast forward 15min, I was then approached and told by their bar manager we had to leave because they had other people looking for a table.. and we were taking up space (we weren’t even their 25min) not only was he very rude about it, but I was told not to come back when I closed out and chose not to tip based on the treatment we received… I also enjoyed the nice little jab about my kstate sweatshirt from the apparent bar manager of 15 years.. he stated that he was trading my business for someone else’s.. I have never experienced this type of treatment at any establishment in my 40 years... don’t worry sir, I won’t be back… I can pick and choose who gets my dollar ?? please try black stag, freestate or any other fine mass street establishments before this.
Great service, plexiglass dividers to protect staff and customers because of Covid. Plenty of TV's to watch sports. No snacks available now unfortunately. Great beers on tap.

Great pub atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable priced. They make you feel like family.
Came in on a Sunday, had a couple craft beers (because my nose is all turned up and stuff) and left. I had no reason to dock them any stars as the bartender was quite friendly and I got my beer without issue.
