Love the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combo but haven't been able to dine in for quite some time at Lawrence. You have to Park and eat or hurry home before everything gets cold and soggy?. Having a full compliment of the sides they offer is hit and miss; mostly miss☹.
Look I love Popeyes chicken and none of this is the employees fault, but we ordered and they were maybe at half staff or less. They were out of nuggets, and when we asked for strips they said can we wait five minutes that turned into 30. Parts of the menu were broken and the lobby was closed so we couldn't even go in and ask what was happening. I appreciate how hard everyone was working, but management needs to staff up, it must be as hard to work there as it is to eat there. Great chicken and friendly staff though!
I am a big person for chicken. (This happened a couple months ago) But this experience was beyond sad. Around 7PM we went to get dinner. Popeyes was brought up. We drove to Popeyes and ordered chicken tenders, and more fried chicken. Ordered just for them to say the didn’t have chicken and they wouldn’t for another “10-15 minutes” 30 minutes later and still waiting when we see others getting chicken. We ask about it and they give us our (COLD) chicken. Walked out with a refund and threw it away. I will not be coming back SOON, but I might give it another try. Hopefully this was a one time thing.
Dining room wasn’t open at 12:20 for a pick up order, and the drive through line was incredibly slow. At the very least, signage for the closed dining room would be nice.
Gave me dry chicken chicken strips with no sauce even though I asked for sauce, also ordered chicken sandwiches but the meat on them was so small. So very disappointed. Not to mention when I ordered there were no sides accept coleslaw available. Will surely never be returning to this establishment!
If I could give negative stars I would. We ordered a late lunch. Chicken sandwich and fries and chicken tenders with Mac and cheese. Chicken sandwich was not cooked through and cold, went back through drive through and got another Chicken sandwich and the same thing, COLD. We had no utensils for the Mac and cheese. The young man at the window said we have none. Why wouldn't you tell us and we would have ordered something else. Never again. The Health Department needs to be called on this location.
If I could give a negative start I would. This place is ghetto and unprofessional. I’ve gone here more than five times and they always get my order wrong or the give me like 5 fries with my meal literally. The employees are patting their heads and scratching their stomachs and don’t wear no gloves. I know it sounds crazy but this is what they are literally doing. The food is always over cooked and the employees attitudes is crazy. I asked for more fries with my meal since I only counted 5 in the box and the window guy gave me more but first flip flopped them in his hand back and forth like he was juggling a ball. Like where do they do that at? This place needs to be shut down period. I can go to Kansas City on troost and get better service than this.Sincerely,A black woman

Ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich at the drive thru and the price showed $3.99. Got to the window and was told that it would be $4.91. I asked why and was told that the price had changed and that the sign hadn’t been changed yet. I stated that the advertised price was 3.99 and that’s what I should be charged they said that she couldn’t change the price and refused to change the price.
Thought it to be pricey but times has changed. The dinner was great I'm a cook so I know the difference between clean frying oil n dirty . The chicken was good red beans n rice good I was definitely content
