Just went to Mama’s for their delicious street tacos. Unfortunately, when i asked for the one with pineapple, I was told they had no tacos with pineapple. I said Ok, and proceeded to order the Al Pastor-a street taco that comes with pineapple. Waitstaff was rude and dismissive. I then ordered a margarita, to which I was told “no margaritas.” With the dislack of knowledge of the menu, sassy attitude, and lack of basics-I would NOT recommend.
Great authentic Mexican food. The chicken mole tamale was absolutely to die for. The carnitas and barbacoa street tacos were amazing. The Jamaica was refreshing. Will definitely be returning when I can
My buddy took me here saying the Al pastor was good. Oh was he right! The pastor was bomb.Got the chicken pot pie empanadas as well smothered and delicious!Even got a pepino drink and it brought it all together.Have a salsa bar which I love.Also has free nba jam and pacman.If your looking for tasty tacos at a spot with a cool outdoor indoor spot this place checks out!
The mole is among the best I've ever had! Sweet and very flavorful, amazing.The salsas (verde, tomato, and hot) were all very good.My favorite item was the chicken mole enchiladas, however, everything was delicious!They have a great menu, so many great choices to choose from.Please visit this restaurant and support the owner!
It was really nice, they even had a heating system for this outdoor seating that was covered, the food was amazing and we got our food quickly.
Crooks. They swindled some elderly women $200 each for parking in their lot when they were closed. They charged them tow fees and their vehicles were never towed. Preying on the elderly. Do not do business with these crooks. We used to buy tacos from them all the time. NO MORE.
Very good food, easily the best in Lawrence. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is really cool. Will definitely be back again. Try the taco, tamale, empanada plate!!!
These tamales are amazing! My favorite is the poblano and cheese. Super nice service and tables outside. Great price as well.
I enjoy SOME of their food but have had Bad experiences in the past. However, yesterday was the WORST. I even told my son to watch how this person (an African American woman) is when I make an order always a poor attitude. She literally was on her phone the whole time and did not look up. I even asked her if she was talking to me or her phone she alsogot the order wrong. Some people can make good food but they don't know how to run a business I would never have an employee be customers like that. My son called. When he told her what had happened, she hung up. I write a Mexican food blog so people will know Terrible customer service! Shame on them!
This review is for Google and their incorrectly posting that this restaurant is closed on Fridays which is entirely incorrect. Where do they get their information? And it won't allow an edit to be submitted. They are very much opened on Fridays and well worth the visit. Love this place!
