I'm not sure what it is, but I get the worst of fatshack everytime, but when my girlfriend orders from her phone everything looks great and there's is a decent portion of fries and nothing on the order is wrong, but apparently not for me and I keep trying to add photos of the food but it keeps zooming in on all my photos when I post them.(What gives)
Ordered a Mac and cheese burger to go and got a plain hamburger. Called them and let them know what happened and they told me they would replace it if I came back the next day. Came back the next day and they gave me a box of Mac and cheese. Lol check those to-go orders before you leave!!! There’s also a rly good burger spot down the street called dimpseys with staff who give u the burger you paid for. Honestly the whole block is pretty good for burgers, no need to waste your money here. #StillWaitingOnTheRefund
They're a little expensive but they're also open until 3:00 a.m. which is pretty convenient for a late night doordash driver in lawrence. And also their menu is far different than most around which is the reason why they're a little expensive.You can get a classic burger here for around $6 plus tax which is quite expensive for my taste but the located downtown Lawrence on mass Street and if you're already downtown looking for a good burger or a good sandwich then they're right up your alley.They also serve alcohol and have decent seating inside plus a nice bar to sit at plus another table where you can look out the window as you're eating so that's kind of cool. I enjoy the store decorations within, the giant metallic fat shack that greets you as you walk in the door. It's right down the street from the replay lounge so get your burger and then go watch a band play.Fat shack is honestly one of the best places in Lawrence when it comes to doordash deliveries especially at night. they do have paid parking meters right out in front which can be annoying but there's a parking garage just down the block on New Hampshire Street to take care of that problem. And if you're not about that garage life you can park a couple blocks further from that and one of the parking lots as long as you don't exceed 2 hours.So, for a downtown Lawrence Burger joint that serves alcohol, soda and a plethora of bizarre sandwiches and appetizers, a little pricey but definitely worth it if you're a late night worker in Lawrence or if you just want to sandwich that's different than your generic Big Mac or Whopper.
Recommended for the food because it never disappoints. However, you might want to start hiring people who actually want to be there and work and help customers out. Some who work the front have very sour attitudes and have been heard saying they don’t want to do something and they’re are sick of working in the front of house. Waited nearly 45 minutes for 2 burgers and fried brownie bites (which I was told would be being thrown in the fryer when the girl walked away after taking that order). Very disappointed, it’s just a good thing the new brownie bites are to die for and worth waiting 45 minutes and being late to work.
ive ordered über eats here like 3 times now. always warm and fresh! the combo platter box is a decent deal for 15$, deserts are awesome too

We went here and the chicken was SO HARD. This place was outrageous and I’ve never had WORSE chicken in my ENTIRE life!! I will never ever be going here again and that is saying something because I always give places second chances.One star for the fries. They were okay.
Very upset with Fat shack and won't ever order from there again. The fact that one of your employees had to write a very rude comment on our sandwich is very uncalled for. "Thank you 4 ordering right around count down time so we couldn't go do our countdown as a team" Very unprofessional and very uncalled for. Especially when we ordered 20-30 minutes before the new year.
The hamburgers are definitely some of the best hamburgers I've had on mass treating a long time also they have fried Oreos deep fried Oreos oh my gosh what a great way to start the new year off with a big hamburger and some fried Oreos
We ordered 4 items. Chicken fingers that came with fries, Cheese sticks and a 12" Philly Cheesesteak, and Onion rings. Our bill was $50 and change. We got the order really quick and our Grubhub delivery man was very nice. The food was still warm. The issue is AMERICAN CHEESE on the cheesesteak!!! This is pure craziness. Their is not a self respecting cheesesteak eater that would ever eat American cheese on a cheesesteak. We're deflated. All the hype about this joint is not true. Go elsewhere and save your money. There were 6 onion rings that were kid size for $4 and change!! There was 1/2 cup of honey mustard for 4 chicken fingers and one cup of sauce for 8 cheesesticks. The fries were pretty good...too bad the rest of the order wasn't. We will never go back to this place.
