This was my first time there and the lady in the drive thru window was rushing me to make my order, the menu is listed like one giant paragraph so it was hard to read everything quickly. There is a walk up window but drive thru is the main source for ordering. After recieving my food the salsa had spilled everywhere in my bag making a big mess and the food was cold. I will never return there again. And I recommend everyone else find a different taco place.
When I first moved here I thought of Burrito King only as late night party food when everywhere else was closed. Now that I’ve tried most of their menu there are really good items and lots of selection. Their food is great every time. I’m currently addicted to their “meat quesadilla” with shrimp as the meat, it has so much shrimp on it and is spiced perfectly.
Near campus, greasy late-night fast food that's a million times better than Taco Bell.Look over the menu before you go; deciding what you want on the fly can be daunting.The best item on the menu is the #16 deluxe nachos.The drive-through speaker may use an upgrade or repair, but it adds to the charm.
Everything I’ve tried has been great (burritos, tacos)! My only issue is the employees having my card for longer than 5 minutes. It just sketches me out. I’ve been double charged before & one time had to remind an employee to give me my card back after he had it for over 7 minutes.
Absolutely TERRIBLE. The lady on the speaker refused to let me and my friend order separate meals because “we don’t do that today” so we were forced to order the same thing for some reason. Was very rude and yelled at me at the speaker for asking why we could not order different burritos and I still did not have an answer to why. Then refused to give me different kinds of salsa and only gave me hot. Practically threw the food at me and it was very bland and hard to eat, wasn’t worth the price at all. Didn’t taste good at all and customer service was terrible
I work in customer service and try hard to treat workers with a happy attitude and respect.I was about to pay and asked if they had horchata because I forgot to order some. The woman at the window gave me a bunch of attitude and said "you just heard me talk to another customer about it", like I was playing dumb. I didn't hear that conversation, and she has no reason to give me so much attitude. Ruined my happy day I was having so far. Don't know if I'll go back.
Got the lengua tacos, obviously weren't made fresh, but REHEATED.Asked for a refund and never got a call back from management.I have 2 full punch cards for a free burrito if anybody wants them..LA ESTRELLA and PALETERIA CHIHUAHUA #2 have better everything...ANYWAYS!And to be honest, Burrito King has the dryest beans in town.Literally only good of they're made fresh.The gauc always has the darkness in it as well.The dr. Pepper is good though.
This place has my heart. It brings back memories from my college years of 3am burritos after the clubs closed. And almost every time I’m driving through town I get a Chicken King Burrito. Even my kids know if it’s glory. I’m giving it a 4-star though because sometimes the wait is crazy long and I’ve gotten the wrong order on occasion. But when this place is over and hour away, those things are important.
Friendly Lyft driver recommended and took me through here. Fantastic food! I love finding great local gems when traveling. I'll definitely return and would recommend to anyone who doesn't already know about this local treasure. Thank you for the great burrito.
