The gyros are authentic - as good as you can get in Greece! The owner is very nice and gave a complimentary cup of soup while waiting for our food New Year's Eve. We love the pita and the Tsatziki sauce. Any time we are visiting Lawrence we try to stop by.
We entered the restaurant and the employee just stared at us. No greeting whatsoever. Very odd. The food was ok I suppose but had an odd indescribable taste. We didn’t finish our meals. Not sure if we would go back.
The food was ok at best. The meat was terribly salty. Our to go order had all the cold food packaged with hot foos including the tzatiki sauce which was not on the side but slathered over everything which caused it to turn into a watery sloppy mess. Additionally the counter person was rude and not nice.
Went for the fist time and had a wonderful experience. The food was yummy, the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly. I’m definitely going back!
It's ok. The hummus was good. Didn't care for salads because of beets.
First, let me state this — The food is awesome! It’s flavorful without being overly oily or full of gunk. The food gets 10 stars! My problem is, the restaurant never answers its phone. I have been calling them every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes but no one bothers to answer the call. Very frustrating! I was trying to place a pick up order and finally gave up and ordered on eatstreet (was trying to eliminate the middleman so they can keep all revenues). But alas, it wasn’t meant to be.The owner just replied to the review stating that they are having problems with ATT and the lines are now fixed. I’m so glad the owners care enough to answer my frustration. Will try pick up order again in the future!

We’ve been here twice and both times we were perhaps the only other table so it seems like this must be a hidden gem. The gentleman behind the counter os always courteous and helpful with our questions. First trip we ordered the chicken shawarma and the vegetarian platter, on the second trip we ordered the lamb shank special of the day and the vegetarian platter again. The red lentil soup which came with the meal was really savory so we really enjoyed it to the last drop. The chicken shawarma was tasty but the lamb shank tasted even better. The vegetarian platter came with Saffron Rice, Sautee Carrot, Sautee Potatoes, and Taktouka ( mixed eggplant, green pepper, onion and tomatoes) it was all very tasty. We saved the pita for last.
Love visiting Argana Cafe! The food is flavorful and not too heavy. The falafel is the best I’ve ever had, the order comes with more…we had already sampled some before I took the picture.
This was a pleasant surprise! Such a nice atmosphere. The decor was absolutely gorgeous! The food was magical! So delicious!!
